Taxi Aid Camera.

Featured Replies

Come on guys. It is an A380, TAC, (Taxi Aid Camera) is a HUGE part of ground ops. Just slapping an INOP sticker over it is not good enough. Even Aerosoft A340 got that simulated pretty well. Taxi is one of the more challenging parts of operating the A380. The Taxi Aid Camera is a very vital part of operating the A380.

I'm with ini on this one to be honest. If we can't have a simulator view as the camera view on the screen, then it's not worth doing. Because sim scenery will always have differences compared to whatever imagery is used on Aerosoft's camera view, and if it's just the centreline not matching by a metre or two, or you can't see a vehicle in your way and such, nah it would be kind of pointless.

I'm afraid you'll have to take this one up with Asobo. Camera views has been requested forever, but Asobo doesn't see the need for it unfortunately.

Something is better than nothing. Even though the weather radar is entirely useless then why do alot of products have it. A simple gimmick, there's alot of arguments you could make for implementing even satellite imagery, and just let people know it won't be 1 to 1.
