Seriously? Have you done exactly the same thing as with the A340, despite the entire community complaining about the pop-up screen?

May I ask why? This pop-up screen is completely useless. We need to be able to pop out each individual display separately, so that users with dedicated monitors or home cockpit setups can place each display on the appropriate screen.

What was unclear about all the complaints regarding this exact issue on the A340?

Is this something you are planning to fix, possibly on both aircraft? Because in their current state, they are essentially unusable for anyone with a multi-monitor home cockpit setup.

I’ve seen this several times with INIBuilds aircraft, and it bothers me immensely. To be honest, I’m considering asking for a refund. At the very least, I won’t be buying any more aircraft from INIBuilds as long as they handle pop-out windows this way. It’s a real nuisance for people with multiple monitors.

You are on 1.14.4? You should see the full panel in Discover. Go to Profiles, create a Profile, the select Fragments. Here you can create screen fragments for the portions of the panel you want to use.

To be clear, it's important to note that the systems in the A220 were developed by synaptic and not by us, and decisions regarding the method of rendering the screens were made long before the A340 was released.

As for the reason, the architecture that Synaptic have used in the A220 requires communication between the screens (rendered natively in the sim using JS) and the underlying flight computer simulations (running in WASM). In order for these two to communicate, they do so over what is called the Commbus. By combining all 5 screens into 1 single rendered frame, the number of back and forth communications required over the commbus is effectively reduced to 1/5th of what would be required if the aircraft rendered all 5 screens individually. Given the nature of the Commbus and the high complexity of the avionics displays in the A220 relative to other airliners, you can hopefully understand that an 80% reduction in the amount of communication happening here is quite significant in terms of stability and performance.
