May 2May 2 Hello all.I have tried a flight from EGLL-EGPD.I can't for the life of me get the ILS to capture. I have set it to its freq of 109.9. I tried 3 times on 3 missed approaches and I just gave up. I have no idea whats happening. I am at 2500ft which is needed for the 16/34 ILS.I was set to RADIO instead of INS.What's weird was at last night it WAS working and I did a great landing there at PD. https://touchdownfx.com/landing/69f5568e280b9db448b3c597 and the ILS worked fine.
May 2May 2 Did you have both Nav 1 & 2 tuned to the ILS frequency, and it may help to have the GNS530 set to NAV (not GPS) and tuned to the ILS as well? Nikita, Flight Crew (MSFS/2024)
20 hours ago20 hr I have the same problem! I’ve tried numerous ILS approaches into EGLL 9L, frequencies & approach coarse correctly set on both sides, nav system set to radio, dh set on both sides, both autopilots set to CMD, the ILS/LOC lights on, and showing as armed or active on the annunciator… and the plane just flies through the approach path regardless of how shallow the intercept is. It was a little ‘flakey’ on release, but it would work… now it just seems completely broken for me. I keep thinking it must be something that I’m stupidly missing…. But can’t for the life of me figure out what. I haven’t had the gps fitted so it can’t be that in the wrong mode. I had installed the TriStar, but have now tried it streamed and had exactly the same issue. This is in FS2024.

Then return to the PFB and deselect it so that one is back to INS only displayed. The distinction as I understand it is that the GPS is always active, even when not selected on the PFB as displayed. Unless this has changed since the TriStar was launched. Cheers! Nikita, Flight Crew (MSFS/2024)
