Left HSI Frozen & AP1 Navigation Issues (INS Mode)

am reporting a specific issue regarding the Pilot-side instrumentation and Autopilot 1 behavior while using the INS for navigation.

Even though all three INS units are fully and correctly aligned, I am experiencing a freeze on the left-side HSI. While the bearing needle on the HSI still rotates to point toward the waypoint, the distance (DME) readout remains completely frozen and does not count down. TConsequently, when AP1 is engaged in INS mode, the aircraft fails to track the route and begins to fly in circles.

The strange part is that the Co-Pilot's side (right) works perfectly fine. If I switch the flight to AP2, the aircraft immediately captures the track and flies the route as intended. On the right HSI, all data (distance and time) is updated correctly in real-time. This issue seems restricted to the left-side HSI and its connection to AP1.

I now had this two times.

I had this problem on both of the two flights I've attempted with the TriStar so far, and it somehow never occurred to me to look at the F/O's HSI to see whether it was working - I just flew the rest of the flight using the GPS instead.

I also noticed that, while this problem was occurring, the INS didn't seem to automatically sequence the waypoints, even though the selector was set to AUTO. Possibly related?

More than likely as I know one of our content partners also had the same issue when he noticed that the wasn't flying on the correct route heading and was off-course

I have had the same issue today.
Completed a flight, which included going through about 3 sets of 9 waypoints with everything working just fine - then completed a turnaround to head off on a second flight...
I set all new waypoints 1 through to 9 with my current position 0 being accurate still... the INS did not allow any selection of From/To waypoints other than 0 to 1-9 (could not select 1-2/2-3...ect) and the HSI was stuck on a random direction with the distance also being stuck. 
I took off to see if it would come around, however no change. I landed and cycled through reseting/realigning the INS - even shutting the aircraft all the way off and turning it back on again.. however no change. 

On a side note wto add with the HSI if I can add.
The distance only ever shows INS wapypoint distance, even when changing to RADIO. Even though the manual indicates otherwise not sure if thats also an issue out there.
