The biggest A340 problem is the Phoenix A320.

Flying the Ini A340 after flying the Phoenix A320 is like trying to sing after Sinatra. The bar is very high. Dropping a product without offset, non-existing acars, no etp, time markers etc.  So many things are lacking. Center Mcdu not working. It is a long-haul aircraft. I honestly don't think a single wide body Airbus long haul aircraft has ever been produced without the center MCDU configured and working.

Potential indeed,

These things are a minimum in the 2025 payware environment.

Get the managed descent sorted and above items added. Then you are singing.

I totally agree. I was surprised with these things lacking, especially after spending a lot of time in the fenix a320, you'll feel like you're missing out on a lot with this.

I totally agree. I was surprised there wasn't offset and ETP functions for a payware aircraft. No hate at all towards the dev team but those are things that should've been included on release.

most will say software is never perfect ,we get that but it's honestly surprising that features that were missing on the a350 (what a launch..) also are missing on the a340, I don't have the a340 but hearing this just makes me laugh. I don't understand why certain features are always missing it makes 0 sense and almost seems like basic stuff is never prioritized.

Hello,

ETP arrived with the latest update. We are taking a look at all the other mentioned features.
I do have to mention that the reason we excluded the third MCDU is simply for performance reasons. We have however seen the feedback and, while I cannot promise anything, the team will look into it.

Thank you 🙂
