Sound Mixing

Featured Replies

I like the Quality of the Sounds, but the overall Mixing of them isn't just very pleasant.

Either it is load-af or whisper-quiet

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your feedback!

We do have some sound fixes in the pipeline currently to help improve that aspect of the product.
Please do let us know what you think whenever that update is out 🙂

May I help you guys out here...

Sounds are very good right now, they just need some love here and there.

Transissions are often a bit abrupt. For example while adding thrust on take off, buzz saw sound comes a bit to abrupt. Also on engine start the humming when fuel is ignited comes a bit too abrupt. Just let the sounds fade in/out a bit more gentle.

Hope that helps!

Cheers, Wolfgang

the wind at cruise speed is too high in the mix.

Maybe "too high" is the wrong term, but it seems like the level of the sound (even when you turn it down) ends up running the aircraft's sound into a hard limit compressor. I don't even know if MSFS has "compressor" logic in the sound pipeline, but when the cruise wind increases, that sound doesn't just get LOUDER-- it actively turns DOWN the level of "competing" sounds.

Still barely hear the alttiude callout during approach tried various different volume mix to no avail.
