Are the A350 Cabin Packs an out of season April Fools joke?
Jack Dudley replied to DarrianCZE's topic in General Discussion
The cabin packs have now been made free. -
From what I have seen, dc bans have been usually due to the person In question being involved or in pirating servers. Even if you don’t put anything, it’s ban by association. If not, then it’s probably the fact you may have been coming across as trolly, but I hope a moderator will be able to confirm this.

I do not think it is cancelled, and I think it should be released in the next month, by the end of it hopefully. It is a difficult process, and even more so for Xbox.
-
ULR will most likely be released the same time as the -1000/900 releases for us.
-
Xbox, no idea. I would like to think hopefully within the next month, before the summer holidays start in the UK, but may be wishful thinking.

Speak for yourself, very soon doesn't mean within the next 3 days. I get it is annoying, but I would much rather have a stable version with stuff. If you don’t want it- don't buy it. IniBuilds will not be missing out on that money.

I have some questions, all regarding the A350. Firstly, I saw it looks like we will have working slides. In what situation will these deploy, will they be available on Xbox, and will they have a deployment animation? HUD will be a toggle-able option I assume, also for Xbox? Printer I do not see why not. Will Xbox be getting a working cabin crew control tablet, as we are getting the first half of the galley? If you have the Lite version, will passenger emergencies still simulate (will parts of cabin necessary for this be rendered in upon activation?). Will snow and ice be shown without GSX if conditions allow? Thank you. Jack

You are on 24 I guess? Very likely a bug, I recommend flying on 20 for the moment .
-
Im sure it will!!
-
Since it is payware and is taking a while, I very much hope so. I would honestly don’t care how long it takes (ideally within the next 6 weeks) but honestly I just want it to be good, run well, and have no/limited bugs.
-
Probably not….?

Im a bit confused but I can try to help. Are you having issues with a TOGA takeoff? Im a bit confused if you could clarify please.
-
They fixed some bugs, added the flight deck printer, condensation effect on all windows (pax and flight deck), overhauled the GPS jamming system, and a FBW auto de-rotation feature. Let me know if you want the specifics of any of these, I can provide them.
-
Please remove auto de-rotation feature for normal landing
Jack Dudley replied to starjun's topic in Other
I believe this is a feature of the FBW system, but is meant to stop nosewheel bounces or other issues that you have mentioned. Notably, it can be overridden, like most other FBW inputs by the PIC if you wish to have full control of the aircraft de-rotation speed. It’s a first for this update, and I expect with further testing it should be fixed, perhaps by making the de rotation slower, or making it easier to be overridden by a simple command of the stick or perhaps other feature (disable in on-board aircraft settings). In the meantime, I believe forcibly keeping the nose at your selected attitude should stop this feature, for you to command it down to a safe level, but I’m not too sure. Cheers! -
I have had this FMS lockup issue in the A320 as well.
-
Could it perhaps be that the fuel never actually loaded in the aircraft? I have had that issue multiple times.
-
No worries, sorry we couldn’t get your wish.
-
Ahhh, sorry for the confusion. Yes that makes sense. In managed AP modes, the AP manages the speed it believes is best for this flight. You can of course, select it to override that input but the idea is it isn’t necessary if you want the AP to do all the work for you. So, your answer is you cannot change managed speed, as it is (attempted) to be managed by AP, however you can always use selected speed to fit your desired flight time (up to a point of course) cheers Jack

I believe sharklets are toggable on all A350 variants.

Blue means armed, Green means engaged. It shows as green because thats what engaged eg green .78 because you are flying at .78, right? So, when you change alt or speed, it goes blue to symbolise armed. Then you need to push forward on speed in 350 to engage it and it will shortly turn Green upon reaching that speed. Same reason why NAV shows blue before engaging- it’s armed, not engaged!

Will you be able to try and ensure 2020 liveries are free, or charge a low price for them?
-
Although I do not fly it, could it possibly be a simulated aircraft feature, where it is trying to keep on centreline (even w/o and ILS or autopilot)?
-
On Xbox, no. We will have the lite version which will not include the toilet, cabin, crew rest area or avionics bay situated underneath the flight deck. It is unfortunate, but clearly necessary to ensure Xbox runs smoothly, however I wish there was a toggle or the toilet was included- we want the toilet!!!

In case it’s a translation issue- he is asking if TCAS is functional on the A350. He says that his TCAS is on, however cannot see other players, so wonders if it’s simulated or not. Have a nice day!

inibuilds airplanes not working on xbox
Jack Dudley replied to Mrflightsim's topic in General Discussion
Right mate I would strongly advise you use proper grammar and SPaG…it’s very difficult to understand. That being said, Eddie I believe he is saying (and I’ve experienced this before) that we spawn in cold and dark and the aircraft will not start up. E.g, whenever I do a flight I do it in 2020 and with V2 320, yours. I have to reset sim and flight multiple times before I can actually manage to even get to MCDU setup. The aircraft might not power on (screens stay blank after doing all steps) screens and aircraft might freeze (can still interact with aircraft just nothing actually activated after clicking a button). The fuel won’t load sometimes, because either the tablet in flight deck won’t turn on or fuel will say applied and no fuel is actually added. In my last flight I had an issue where I tried to take off (with max autobrake and armed spoilers per SOP) and at around 120 knots (V1 was 130 and VR a couple knots later) and for some reason my autobrake activated, so did my spoilers because of decel. I tried again with autobrake, and this time it did it at V1, and I floated for a second before hitting the runway and having an excursion. The last attempt I just made sure I didn’t have any autobrake or spoliers and just managed to get in the air. Important to mention my engines seemed to throttle down and when I finally got into the air alpha floor saved me from a stall, as A/P obviously wouldn’t take control and even when I tried to arm it, it just handed control back instantly, as recognised in the real aircraft. As for the other issues I have had no problem- and for the time being I strongly advise switching back to 2020 for the moment. It has much less glitches and still looks way better than 2024 for some reason. Many thanks Jack
