  3. I've noticed that whenever there is any measurable crosswind, the autopilot does not properly track a VOR radial. The aircraft will always be noticeably off track from the selected radial, depending on the wind direction. Is the any possibility that the autopilot can be adjusted to better compensate for the crosswind component?
  4. I was noticing the same thing too, using the generic cargo type and manually setting pax and weight didn’t seem to do anything after hitting apply. The in game weight and balance menu didn’t reflect any changes regardless of weight settings.

  6. So this isn’t really unique to just the AN225, but it is more of an issue on this plane than others, e.g. the FBW A320. If the game has been paused while the autopilot is engaged, even if only for a few seconds, the plane immediately begins losing control once the game is unpaused. It dramatically pitches up or down and will go to +/- 2000fpm or more. It takes a lot of manual intervention and AP resetting to stabilize the aircraft again. For clarity I’m referring to pausing using ESC, not active pause. I’ve tried pausing a couple times without the autopilot enabled, and it seems fine that way so I typically disable AP, pause, resume, then enable AP again. Is this just the nature of how MSFS’ pause system works or is there anything that can be done about it?
  7. The plane appearing on the runway instead of the selected gate is a known bug in the MSFS beta and not related to the AN225, if you’re on the beta.
  8. I've learned the hard way that you have to be very careful with your speed on approach. If you engage VEL while on approach to slow down, the throttle will go to idle and it will attempt to use the aircraft's pitch to maintain speed. This has caused a few stalls for me. Instead of using VEL, either use manual throttle or carefully maintain pitch with VRTCL.
  9. The cockpit fans can be rotated, and the power switch is next to the CPT and FO window heater switches overhead.
  10. Hi! What’s your approach configuration? To be honest I’ve only done two ILS approaches so far, but I haven’t had stability issues yet. I’m typically at 277kph with full flaps and it’s pretty stable. It does seem to drift slightly off the localizer though in crosswind, but not enough to destabilize the approach. That being said there’s an FAQ that mentions the plane’s autopilot wasn’t built for low speed use and is intended to be hand flown. That may be what’s happening.
  11. Hi! I’ve just about gotten the autopilot controls figured out. The one area I have a question on is how to change the target that the autothrottle is aiming for. For example, if I’m in level flight at cruising altitude, what’s the proper procedure for increasing speed from say Mach .70 to .73? I did attempt to disable the autothrottle, increase speed manually, and then reset autothrottle but that did not seem to work. It went back to Mach .70.
