Mark Chernis Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Just downloaded the updated version of EGLL from SimMarket and get a CTD every time I try to spawn at the airport—gates or runways. Have emptied the Community folder except for this scenery AND have tried in both normal and safe modes. Also, deleted and rebuilt the rolling cache. Worked fine prior to the update. Ideas? One other thing I did notice — in normal mode (vs. safe) the view of the airport when you zoom in on the World Map is obstructed. You can’t see most of the terminals or gates. In safe mode it is fine in the World Map. Again, EGLL is the ONLY item in the community directory.
Administrators iniBuilds Posted April 30, 2022 Administrators Posted April 30, 2022 Could you provide us with your PC specs please? Kind Regards Ubaid

AndyM Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Might be worth trying the following in this order .... 1. Delete any rolling cache, and temporarily turn it off. Ensure you have the default Asobo EGLL uninstalled. 2. Exit MSFS 3. Delete the Content.xml file. For MS store version it's :- (AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Content.xml) 4. Delete the simulator .dat files. For MS store version it's :- (AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SceneryIndexes\*.dat) 5. Remove everything other than the EGLL scenery to the Community folder. 6. Start MSFS and try EGLL. 7. If okay, start to restore options and additional scenery testing EGLL as you go.
Administrators Sam Posted May 1, 2022 Administrators Posted May 1, 2022 Thanks for your continued assistance, @AndyM. @Mark Chernis Let us know if Andy's steps resolve the issue. Sam Wheeler Senior Management | iniBuildsinibuilds.com
Mark Chernis Posted May 1, 2022 Author Posted May 1, 2022 Sadly, Andy's steps did not help. That said, I think this is a problem with SU9 because a couple of other high-end sceneries (Drzewiecki, FlyTampa, etc.) are also having problems. Growing thread on the forums about it. Something else is going on. Thanks for the follow up. Mark
Mark Chernis Posted May 2, 2022 Author Posted May 2, 2022 Separately, wanted to point this out... Attached is a screen shot of the airport from the World Map. Is it supposed to look like this? I removed the Asobo version of the airport from the Content Manager when I added your scenery to the Community folder. Seems like much of the airport is missing / blurred so you can't see the gates and parking areas.

AndyM Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 I don't think so, all airports I've seen tend to have images of the terminals. Not sure if iniScene have done it intentionally, or it's just an error. To be honest I've not noticed it before.
