Extremely slow/sluggish Moving map on both efb and ois

Featured Replies

Hi,

is anyone experiencing extremely slow and sluggish moving map on both efb and ois?

I didn’t have the issue on a flight I did yesterday but today I experienced the issue for the first time.

Many thanks in advance!

Hi Reza,

I have not personally experienced this, are you able to attach a short video of this behaviour?

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, I’ve had the same problem since updating to version 1.04.

Switching to a different card and zooming is extremely slow, and the flight path tracking doesn’t work either when you click on the little aeroplane icon

in the top right-hand corner. It just jerks about!

If you look closely, you can see that the aeroplane is situated in a small square below the map.

Thank you very much Kyle as always for your prompt reply.

Here is a video, sorry for the background noise and poor quality. You will notice that as I click the + sign to zoom, it takes so long to zoom and adjust.

Hope it helps.

I have this issue too, it was running smoothly on the EFB map on vfr mode and other modes before MSFS update 7 yesterday. Now the map is really glitching and has a delay of several seconds when zooming in and looses the aircraft center symbol. Strange as the map on the A340 is working fine since yesterday's update. The only way to describe it is when you zoom in a little box appears around the aircraft symbol then there a severe glitch and delay.

Many thanks

Other than this aircraft is awesome, I have updated it by marketplace to 1.04 also.

I tried the A350 and other aircraft, it is working perfectly fine with them.

It seems like it is only on the A380 for me right now.

Really been enjoying the A380. It’s a magnificent plane. Hope this issue can resolve soon!

Thanks for your videos @Rezab. We're currently tracking some odd behaviour as the result of SU7. This has been logged by the team.

Thanks for your patience as the team investigates!

Thanks so much Kyle for the update.

If you can keep us posted of any updates on this it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Absolutely. The team is already at work!

Amazing!

Really appreciate the quick reply and action from your team.

One question, could it mean than we might have to wait about a week for the next update to roll out in marketplace for this to get fixed. Just curious 😊

Yes, unfortunately that will be the case. In all honesty, it may take even longer as the team still needs to investigate the source of the issue and apply a fix.

Just know the team is working extremely hard to squash any and all remaining issues!
