I downloaded the map server 1200 from iniBuild Manager, but it wouldn't work properly. I tried to uninstall it, but iniManager just says it is uninstalling although nothing happens. I deleted it from both exe.xml files and removed the folder. How do I get the manager to stop uninstalling so I can try to install it again?

I have the exact same problem. Can't uninstall. So I deleted the download but still can't redownload because it still thinks it's installed.

If you find a solution, please let me know.

Same problem here. I did not delete but moved it after downloading. Problem now, is I can't reinstall because IniManager thinks it is installed.

I deleted the manager and reinstalled. That stopped the continuous uninstalling. But there are obvious problems remaining with A220 map server.

In the meantime, can you try downloading the maps directly from the Synaptic website to see if this solves the issues?

I tried that before using iniManager, but the download failed every time and took forever. I was able to download it using iniManager. Tried to install it, but Synaptic never said where it should go. I picked a place, but it wouldn't work. Only received am error message. I hope the update from Synaptic deals with this.

Hi,

The initial server load was causing delays in the download, that should be fixed now.

I currently have the folder sitting on my desktop, no need to install it to any specific location. I've attached screenshots.

• Open map-server folder

• double click run

• hit run again when windows security prompt pops up

• keep the windows console open in background

Tried to uninstall yesterday's download, but manager hung on uninstalling. I uninstalled and reinstalled the manager. I cleaned bot exe.xmls. Should I just manually removed the old download and start over?

I do not have any experience downloading the file through the inimanager, so my support will be limited.

I can definitely suggest the method I mentioned above, as I know this works.

I tried to install from iniManager. I created a folder on my desktop as the target. After downloading, I didn't have anything like you had -- no run, only data and map server. Clicking on map server only produced a log, data and map-server.exe, which did nothing. I've attached the log.

Like I mentioned in my previous post, for now, I would suggest downloading the file directly from the inibuilds/synaptic website and follow the steps I have provided.

Catching up on this thread as I have the same issue. 1200 map server won't uninstall, although I've installed the 400 version. Referring back to Synaptic may not be the optimal choice as they promoted the fact that inibuilds took up the file hosting due to traffic issues on their Google Docs solution. It would probably be best to resolve the issue with the iniManager regarding a "hung" uninstall. How do we clear this so that we can try to re-download the 1200 version. I have the old 1200 version yet it isn't working with the new 1.3 release of the A220. Is there something between the INI and Synaptic team that needs to be ironed out with the new update provided today?

If you have the manual download from Synaptic/inibuilds, you should be good to delete the one from the manager.

Have you tried following the steps above to get the manually downloaded version working?

I tried this method as well but it did not work. I'm back to the 400 server and it's working just fine but want to do a proper reset and re-install the 1200.

Download took forever from Synaptic. Content of folder was just data and the exe, no run. Command prompt opened (with some red type) and closed after pressing the .exe. Tried it in the sim, but no joy. Prompt stayed open, but red line saying there was a parser error.

I will try that. Where s hould I download it from? I've attached the window I get when I start map-server.exe and start the sim. It stays open until I close the sim, but terrain doesn't show in aircraft.
