Is there a way to reinstall it?

Thanks. There is nothing wrong with the plane, everything seems to be working. Just not sure what version I have.

As I said, there was nothing in the EFB except that it was 1.0.1. Nothing about a reset.

My Library says I have version 1.0.1 of the A380. The EFB also says version 1.0.1. I never received the new diagnostic tool when I opened the aircraft and the EFB settings does not have any mention of it. Is there any other way to tell that I have version 1.0.1?

I'll let you know. I downloded the 400, but haven't installed it yet as long as things are working.

The gremlins have smiled! , I started things up again and, for whatever reason, terrain worked. I will see what happens next time.

I will try that. Where s hould I download it from? I've attached the window I get when I start map-server.exe and start the sim. It stays open until I close the sim, but terrain doesn't show in aircraft.

Download took forever from Synaptic. Content of folder was just data and the exe, no run. Command prompt opened (with some red type) and closed after pressing the .exe. Tried it in the sim, but no joy. Prompt stayed open, but red line saying there was a parser error.

About the only way to stop the uninstall problem is to uninstall the inimanager and reinstall it. As I said above, I downloaded it from iniBuilds, but it is not working. I'm reluctant to try uninstalling with the manager. I have the download from inibuilds/synaptic. Should I just manually delete the one from iniBuilds?

I tried to install from iniManager. I created a folder on my desktop as the target. After downloading, I didn't have anything like you had -- no run, only data and map server. Clicking on map server only produced a log, data and map-server.exe, which did nothing. I've attached the log.

Fine. I still have a version on my machine. Should I just delete it?

Tried to uninstall yesterday's download, but manager hung on uninstalling. I uninstalled and reinstalled the manager. I cleaned bot exe.xmls. Should I just manually removed the old download and start over?
