Thursday at 06:49 PM3 days Hi,It would be nice if the AMP would work with volume knobs working, ie if turned off no hear and when turned up we hear comensurate to the knob position up to max.I tried several VORs ADFS ILSs and turned the ident ON but we don't hear anything??Even in the new A340-300, nothing is heard??

They are automatically identified by the aircraft - when the LS or VOR identifier is shown on the screen, the navaid has been tuned and identified by the avionics. Mind you, the A300 auto tunes too.That's not what I'm asking... in case you don't read properly, or you're making your own suggestions out of others posts?I will write again, can we pilots hear the tones, NOT the avionics, US PILOTS, when pulling the corresponding knob on the ACP, which are there for that reason..?
