Yesterday at 02:04 AM1 day So far, I’ve only managed to get the ILS working successfully at ZUCK with the SS3D version.I cannot activate the ILS at any other airport — including iniBuilds’ VHHH, EGLL, and third-party RKSI, among others.I’ve completed all the steps that I can did: entered the ILS frequency and magnetic runway heading, switched to RADIO mode, used HDG to line up with the runway, and descended below the glideslope.Yet at the vast majority of airports, the ILS and LOC buttons simply won’t light up no matter what I do.I want to figure out the reason for this issue, please help me. Yesterday at 02:16 AM1 day Have you try this? :)If you are using the Garmin GPS, change from GPS to VLOC using the CDI button. ORCreate a binding to the below to toggle it. The rest of what you are doing is perfect - sometimes the GPS/VLOC swap over and make the HSI not respond to RADIO.I hope thats all it is :) Windows11Pro, Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060Ti, 64GB RAM.

My ILS and LOC buttons still pop back up and turn off immediately after I press them. I can't get into the LOC ARM or ILS ARM state at all, so I still can't engage the ILS.
Yesterday at 06:42 AM1 day At VHHH what runway and freq were you using? I just landed ILS 07C 109.30/074' and everything worked fine. Even on the ground I've used 07R 110.90 and been able to select ILS or LOC. http://youtube.com/watch?v=HoNRWNIHta0When you have the ILS tuned does the HSI display as expected and DME show? 21 hours ago21 hr Interesting, I just did the IGS 13 into Kai Tak from another flight and then zipped back up to throw (literally 😅) myself into the ILS 25C after reading your last post and everything worked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9-H42bWBPYSo just to check , You have 109.30 and RADIO selected? The ILS shows a DME on the VOR/DME Indicator? The HSI shows the correct course and the course bar has moved either left or right with no flags? You have at least one FD on? Both FD have been switched on since before takeoff. In your video, once you press the ILS and LOC buttons, they stay illuminated, and it shows ILS ARM or LOC ARM until fully capturing and engaging the ILS/LOC signal. But on my end, the ILS and LOC buttons pop off and turn off immediately right after I press them. Because of this, my VOR/DME indicator and HSI won’t respond or engage with the ILS at all.The only place I can successfully capture and engage the ILS just like in your video is at SS3D Chongqing Airport (ZUCK).The L1011 doesn’t have a separate Navigraph data folder to install navigation data like the A350 does. Could this be caused by an issue with my Navigraph navigation data? I installed both nav-base and nav-jepp through Navigraph Hub. Edited 19 hours ago19 hr by Wonhee
16 hours ago16 hr NavData doesn't have an impact on radio navigation in this case where the sims navdata is up to date. 3 hours ago, Wonhee said:But on my end, the ILS and LOC buttons pop off and turn off immediately right after I press them. Regardless of the ILS/LOC buttons, the VOR/DME and HSI should show information to the radio within distance. If you are on the ground at VHHH and tune 109.30 in radio mode, does the HSI and VOR/DME show a response as per the above screenshots? 5 hours ago, RyanAlmeida95 said:5 hours ago, RyanAlmeida95 said:DME showing distance (NORM has to be selected on nav radio)The course bar has moved wither left or right? 11 hours ago11 hr Ok, it doesn't sound like an ILS/LOC button issue. Can you upload a screenshot of the instrument panel including the glaresheild? Do you use this aircraft with the GPS? Windows11Pro, Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060Ti, 64GB RAM.

My recording setup and procedures weren’t very standardized or professional, and the video might be a bit longer than usual, so please bear with me.Also, could you help me figure out why the ILS approach was unavailable?
22 minutes ago22 min As pointed out, the radio freq data is not making it to the VOR/DME or HSI for some reason. Can you try the first thing again with the TOGGLE GPS DRIVES NAV1 whilst on the ground at an VHHH tuned to an ILS freq in RADIO and see if the instruments change? On 5/3/2026 at 12:16 PM, RyanAlmeida95 said:Have you try this? :)If you are using the Garmin GPS, change from GPS to VLOC using the CDI button.
