Co-pilot Outside of Cockpit

Featured Replies

Hello all - Kind of funny, but frustrating all the same. Has anyone experienced issues with the pilot and co-pilot appearing to be floating out over the nose of the aircraft? It seems that switching to exterior view causes this to happen. When I switch back to cockpit view, the co-pilot remains on the nose (dosent help with my landing at all). Any ideas on how to remedy would very much be appreciated!!

Same for me!!!

I have MSFS2024 and installed the compatible version, without any problem.

Yesterday I bought the update for Premium version which flies perfect with FeDEX GE N667 FE.

But I observed also extra eye outside the cockpit like your picture!

I un-installed everything and cleared al folders I know ( except the FedEX livery), then installed the bird again and the external crew was still there...

Then I un-installed the Fedex livery and used a standard inibuild without FedEx  livery.

Now the outside pilots have diapered...

Then I installed the FedEX again, and the outside pilots came back.

Conclusion : It is a livery problem!!!

So I stop now have nice whiskey and wait for the update.

My situation:

EHAM stand S90

( Inibuilds A350-900 & Fenix A320 never issues )

Livery GE N667FE

Cold & Dark start up

removed file :C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SimObjects\Airplanes\a300-600\presets\inibuilds\a300-600 freighter (ge)\config : cameras . cfg

Start the sim

No external pilots

Settings Keyboard : Save custom camera 0-9 & Load custom camera 0-9 , setup and used

No external pilots

Shut down complete PC

Restart PC at EHAM stand S90

External pilots !!!

Shut down complete PC

Restart PC at EHAM stand S90 with FEDEX PW N744FD !!!

Tried all custom camera settings

no external pilots

Shut down complete PC

Restart PC at EHAM stand S90

No external pilots

In game with tools ( dev mode ) selected FEDEX GE N667FE

No external pilots.....

Restarted PC several times but no problem seen!!!

After in game change of livery the external pilots stayed on their seats and I am lost, sorry

? via keyboard camera settings ?

? init problem in the versions 1.0 & 1.0.0 ?

? A Bill Gates problem us usual ?

to be continued.....

cameras.CFG

Today, after inserting the mouse key-bindings from Fenix A320 into the FeDEX N667FE the pilots are outside the cockpit again..

After removing cameras, cfg the pilots went away.

Inserting cameras.cfg the pilots are back in the ouside position.

Tomorrow I will complete delete all pilots from 2024

In Customize identity removed the co-pilot and no problem

In Customize identity selected a new copilot and co-pilot was sitting in the cockpit.

After stopping MSFS2024 and restart MSFS2024 copilot was sitting outside cockpit again.

so some goes wrong in the restart mode this time.

Now I remove the co-pilot for ever and my issue is solved, but not for Inibuilds I am afraid.

I believe it is related to the old liveries! Not all liveries have this problem.
During long flights 2024 is stopping also with my system, with the A350 I never have problems with long hauls.

I had reported this issue earlier.  Totally agree with the opening sentiment "kind of funny but frustrating all the same". I've never seen this with the A340 or A350. With the recent release of A340/A350 updates hoping a A300 update (and a fix for this) is next.

still there in the current Version
