by design Step Alts

Entering Waypoint in my flight plan, and using LSK1L results in ENTRY OUT OF RANGE warning.

Also INIT-A page does not update CRZ FL/TEMP when a higher altitude is selected in the FCU (Is this propper A340 logic)

Hi,

The accepted format is WPT/ALT in LSK L1, so try DATOK/410 for example.

After you start climbing to the FCU selected ALT, it updates the CRZ ALT to the FCU alt as long as its higher than current CRZ ALT. You also get an FMS scratchpad msg "NEW CRZ ALT FLXXX" as seen here. The temps however you may need to adjust on your own.

Step alts don't work at all. It's the same mess as with the A350. It imports correctly, but when I just checked, it only performed one step climb instead of two, and the entire MCDU was messed up. Times and altitude readings like -123624517, etc. They just can't do it right.

With reaching the CRZ FL, the CRZ TEMP at INIT A has to be dashed, and reamains dashed during step climb. Just one bug I already mentioned long time ago, like many many other, we are still waiting to be fixed.
