DTW not showing snow on the ground properly.

I can also confirm this in MSFS2024.  The grass, runways, and all hard surfaces will not show any snow despite weather settings and the surrounding area having clear snow cover.  Appears to be unique to MS2020, as snow is displaying correctly in MSFS2020.  Would be great to get this working, lots of snow in Detroit!

Correction on the above, unique to MS2024, it is working fine in 2020.  There does not seem to be a forum for DTW in the 2024 section.  Thanks.

Probably because the scenery was designed for 2020, and I don't think Ini are putting much support in to 2020 products anymore.

Also can confirm this issue in FS2024, hopefully it can be fixed up to maintain compatibility!

Hi, I looked into this issue with DTW in FS2024 and I was able to adjust the snow it is maximum density potentials in the weather tab and I was able to find that snow does accumulate on the runways and other hard surfaces do accumulate snow as seen below in the attached images. However as you did point out the grass areas and certain-

-roads do remain without snow and this does come down to an established sim limitation in the thread below regarding LOWI and it's snow coverage:
