Bellah1w Posted June 1 Posted June 1 I have not been able to assign the throttles to an axis . I have tried Set Helicopter Throttle Axis and it wont attach . Just to be clear this is the twin throttle levers as I have read that you can't have seperate throttles due to MSFS limitations. Anyone else had any luck?
Magic Man Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Aren't there other MSFS helo's that support independent engine/throttle control? I'm thinking the Cowan 222b for one?
SkyKlop Posted Sunday at 01:03 PM Posted Sunday at 01:03 PM Same problem with me. Only tried in MsFs 2024, The manual doesn’t make sense. There is no Master Throttle control setting in 2024. Nothing but the mouse can move that throttle level to OFF, Idle, Fly, and Lockout. Can this only be done with SPAD.NEXT or Axis and OHs?
Magic Man Posted Sunday at 02:13 PM Posted Sunday at 02:13 PM I haven't managed to match a value nor event in SPAD yet.
SkyKlop Posted Monday at 12:06 AM Posted Monday at 12:06 AM FYI, I was finally able to map the Throttle Lever using Spad.NeXt to my Velocity One FlightStick. There appears to be no way to map it without doing LVAR commands. 1
Magic Man Posted Monday at 12:43 PM Posted Monday at 12:43 PM (edited) Thanks. What do you have the collective bound to? I'm using COLLECTIVE HANDLE POSITION but it's still slow to action the animation even though the values seem to set at the correct pace. Edited Monday at 02:19 PM by Magic Man
SkyKlop Posted Monday at 05:02 PM Posted Monday at 05:02 PM Attached is a pdf of all my VelocityOneFlightStick mappings. Some are mine but most are the defaults of which I haven't tested yet. I haven't really paid much attention to the collective response. IMO, it seems like the it is not very responsive to dropping the speed and altitude very fast. Not sure if you have to go to idle or lockout to land or there is some other trick. Hunter Helicopter-Velocity1Flightstick.pdf 1
