Swisspilot1986 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago during taxiing with all systems set for TO my entire sim freezed so I had to leave MSFS by leaving Windows. Please confirm I'm the only one in this case!
richboy2307 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Hi @Swisspilot1986 Can you confirm if you cleared your WASM folder after updating? While the sim should handle this for you automatically on first launch after an update/reinstall, we have seen it not happening for some users so you should also try to manually clear your WASM folders. Clearing WASM Folders - Delete all contents on the file paths (Work folder and all .dlls) - FS20: https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/24996-how-to-clear-the-wasm-folder/ - FS24: https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/24917-how-to-clear-the-wasm-folder/ If you still have the crash, please don't close the sim. Use the below guide to verify and report the WASM crash with all the requested information, especially reproduction steps. Thanks! Swisspilot1986 Posted 17 hours ago Author Posted 17 hours ago yes WASM was cleared before installing the update in MSFS2024
LH4371 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago not fully my topic, updated and cleared the WASM cache but during cockpit prep the MCDU reaction got worse, quite laggy actual. cursor not very reactive, clicking often only accepted after second click. again, it worked but became laggy. this was not from the very beginning, though. it started during cockpit prep after I loaded SB flightplan and configured the MCDU fully. enroute now all semmingly fine again, maybe just a hickup. FWIW

Or did you leave TCAS on standby? TCAS ON had several Freezes for me in follow.....leaving it on standby during my flights all went well. I did not try it after the 1.0.3 update though. IniBuilds stated it should be fixed now with 1.0.3 Edited 16 hours ago by MPO910
Swisspilot1986 Posted 16 hours ago Author Posted 16 hours ago I use traffic from FlyByWire and I only turn on TCAS on TA/RA during line-up, so it's on standby during taxi where the freeze arised. I've remade my entire flight and now I'm still flying in cruise. Cross fingers!

Be aware, the TCAS freeze with 1.0.2 occured also after hours in flight, but most often during Taxi, LineUp and as I experienced also while on TakeOff roll and shortly after Lift Off. Report how it goes for you, that would be nice and much appreciated. I keep my fingers crossed for you! 1
DroneSim Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) v1.0.3 - FS24 - A359 (No Cabin) I just completed a flight from Colombo (VCBI) to Malé (VRMM). Turned on TCAS while taxiing. Did not encounter any crashes. Seems to be fixed with 1.0.3. Edited 14 hours ago by DroneSim 1 __________________________________________ 📺 YouTube: DroneSim
Swisspilot1986 Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago ok we hope so, so the team can care other items we pointed out while we can at least fly.
MPO910 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I am almost 5 hours in from LFMN to FMEE.....and no issues BUT TCAS is off, I don´t want to risk it today... 😉
DroneSim Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) v1.0.3 - FS2020 - A359 (No Cabin) Again, I just completed the exact same flight from Colombo (VCBI) to Malé (VRMM). This time in MSFS 2020. Turned on TCAS while taxiing. Did not encounter any crashes. Seems to be fixed with 1.0.3. Edited 12 hours ago by DroneSim 1 __________________________________________ 📺 YouTube: DroneSim
