A350 (2020) BUG? : Assistance Options (shows VOLOCOPTER)

Featured Replies

In the FS 2020 Assistance Options menu,
with the A350 (any plane, any livery),
it shows VOLOCOPTER (and cannot change it).

(please see attached screenshots - A350 and 'normal')

Any ideas, please ?

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem, the plane doesn't turn on the tarmac.

Hi @David Whittaker

That is intentional to lockout assistance options as they can conflict with AP/FBW logic. Additionally we recommend disabling assistances per below for the same reason:

See above link and ensure all the assists are disabled. Also ensure you have the appropriate OIS option selected if you're only using your rudder to steer.

Additionally the A350 uses CFD such that aircraft has momentum and you cannot make sudden turns at high speeds with full deflection, instead you will cause the wheel to skid so you should ease into turns at 10kts or lower speeds.

Thanks!
