I am not sure why but A350 performs horrible in FS 2020 and I have RTX 4090 and I9 14900k with 96GB RAM. Fenix is butter smooth. All Inibuild planes perform bad for me in 2020. IN 2024 its very smooth. I compared both Fenix and A350 at the same airport and same conditions. Even in external view, its performs bad when panning. Can someone help, maybe there something wrong with my setup or something I need to install or uninstall. I have no anti virus running or anything of that matter.

mmm I have 16GB and GTX 1660 Super, and in cockpit I see no performance issue. Looking from outside its a bit demanding, but not a deal braker.

I'm running a RTX 4060 Ti and 32Gb of DDR5 ram and this is the first plane in a while that is pushing those two to their limit.

I have around 16 FPS in the flightdeck, 13 FPS in external view during cruise. It is not ideal but its okayish for me, as I have a rather weak system: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GH, 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3, GPU RTX3060ti 8GB.

I did 2 flights: EHAM-EGLL and LEMD-EHAM both without any other traffic.

Setup and departing went very smooth but landing was almost impossible due to dropping frame rates.

Same. It's the only plane in 2024 that I have problems with. Everything else is 50-60 fps (including the INI 330). Then I load the 350 and I'm watching a slideshow at 8-12fps. 3070ti. Seems to have gotten substantially worse with 1.0.2.

Hi,

Please post screenshots of your in-sim FPS counter for when you're experiencing issues as that will provide more clues.

As for performance on 2020, we are working on an update with further optimizations on the art end that should net in better performance in that regard however additional information such as the sim FPS counter, your specs and sim graphics settings will be more valuable in deciphering the same.

Honestly with specs like "RTX 4090 and I9 14900k with 96GB RAM" the performance you're having makes no sense. I run on a 5800x3D, 3090, 32GB RAM with mostly high settings, 4K TAA and OLOD/TLOD 150 and can manage 30fps+ easily in most scenarios.

Something else is amiss in the instances you're reporting as that is not the common experience for all customers.

Thanks!

Hi ini team, please don't decrease the art quality for the sake of better fps. To be honest ini 350 visual model, VC and textures are leading edge and best ever art and texture work I have ever seen in the flight sim in past 2 decades. The art, modelling and textures give near to real look. Please keep it the same.

For some people even with high end machines, they like to run 4k and want maximum fps(more than 40 is irrelevant I guess). What's the point of having 100+ fps by compromising the visual quality. Does not make any sense. My 2 cents

Hello

I have done a lot of flights in Europe with A350 on FS2020.

For example a LFBO - EDDM without problem.

but yesterday I wanted to fly from KLAX to KSFO …. And it was a nightmare…

Why ?

Report: Performance Issues in iniBuilds A350 Series Linked to Ineffective DLSS/TAA Optimization

Overview

The iniBuilds A350 has faced significant criticism for performance degradation in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), particularly regarding the lack of performance improvement when switching from Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA) to DLSS 0.4. While the aircraft initially received praise for its visual fidelity, recent updates have led to severe frame rate drops, stuttering, and inconsistent optimization across hardware configurations. This report synthesizes user feedback and developer responses to outline the core issues and potential resolutions.

Key Performance Issues

  1. Ineffective DLSS/TAA Implementation
Users report that enabling DLSS 0.4 (Nvidia’s AI-driven upscaling) fails to resolve performance bottlenecks, with minimal or no FPS gains compared to TAA. For example, one user noted that at busy airports like EGLL, FPS dropped from 25–30 to 14 post-update, even with a high-end RTX 4080 Super. Similar complaints highlight that DLSS adjustments do not mitigate CPU or GPU load spikes, suggesting poor integration of upscaling technologies with the aircraft’s systems. Basically, there is no difference in performance between DLSS AND TAA.

  2. Post-Update Performance Regression
Multiple updates (e.g., v1.0.6 and v1.0.7) introduced severe performance regressions in MSFS 2020, including stuttering, reduced FPS during critical phases (e.g., landing), and crashes linked to WASM modules . Users with high-end hardware, such as RTX 4090 and i9-14900K systems, experienced worse performance than older add-ons like the Fenix A320, indicating unresolved optimization flaws.

  3. Inconsistent Optimization Across Simulators
Performance issues are more pronounced in MSFS 2020, while MSFS 2024 users report smoother operation. This disparity suggests that iniBuilds prioritized optimizations for the newer simulator, leaving MSFS 2020 users with unaddressed bottlenecks, such as excessive node counts in cockpit models and inefficient texture streaming.

I have just finished my flight. And can add to the above by saying that 1.0.7 have not addressed any performance issues on MSFS2020 at all. My system is a bit older but still very capable: CPU i9 9900K OC'd 5Ghz, RAM 35GB, GPU: nVidia RTX2070 Super 8GB vram. I really hope that iniBuilds spends a little bit of effort to address this please! It's very annoying when you come in to land after an 8 hour flight just to have like 10-15 fps...

Hola

He hecho muchos vuelos en Europa con A350 en FS2020.

Por ejemplo un LFBO - EDDM sin problema.

pero ayer quería volar de KLAX a KSFO .... Y fue una pesadilla...

¿Por qué ?

The same thing happens to me, when I fly in the USA I get a huge stutter in the simulator.

Try these performance settings including the settings in the msfs20 settings guide (Link at the bottom of the page):

Performance Tips - FlyByWire Simulations Documentation

It worked for me. Before, I had very worse fps and stutters too and now I have even at complex airports up to 20-25fps (usually between 30 and 40 fps at airports).

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor              4.20 GHz

64.0 GB RAM

Geforce RTX 4080

I tried to see how much difference there is between the a350 and other planes so i tried it at EDDF with 0 traffic and identical settings. A320 fenix/horizon 787/ini a350

Hello,

Uninstalling the aircraft entirely then reinstalling it usually fixes significant FPS issues such as these - please give that a go.

Thank you

Already did that, including clearing wasm,i deleted the wasm folder, uninstalled 1.0.7 and then installed 1.0.8.

Reinstalled it once more for the heck of it,no difference, massive load on main thread unfortunately.
