Freeze MCDU again again again !

Featured Replies

Hello, I am currently flying with the A330-200 Paris - Pointe Noire so 8 hours of flight, I am approaching Pointe Noire, I add a Hold in the MCDU and hop! FREEEEEZZEEEEE! Bravo Inibuild! And by the way how do you explain that the airbuses were not corrected in the big update where all the planes received fixes?

I want to say that I completely uninstalled MS 24 to reinstall it properly with the latest update

With the A300 (premium) and the A330, EVERYTHING freezes when I attempt to enter an arrival.

I just had a freeze when trying to enter my STAR after 4 hours of flight. Not holding my breath for a response as I notice all before have had no response from Inibuilds.

indeed no response. you'd think they didn't care, especially no updates since the release..

Take your complaints to MS. They are the ones responsible for updating these aircraft, not iniBuilds.

Hello,

Please try clearing your respective WASM folders and try to reproduce any freezing-related issues you may have.

Thank you

I have a slightly annoying solution, to do before each launch of msfs24, by doing this I no longer have ctd. delete the streampackage content in AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\StreamedPackages

and delete rollingcache.ccc in AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

How this has not been fixed yet? I experienced this bug in my last three flights in three different inibuilds planes (A32N, A333 and A337). In all three flights MCDU and all other systems stopped working when I was doing changes in MCDU. One time it was changing approach runway, another time entering HOLD on one of the waypoints along the STAR.

Same here, tried to enter my arrival and evrything just freezee, twoce now so I gave up on MSFS24 until the inibuild planes are fixed

if you read the update changelog carefully, all planes receive fixes, except the ini planes while they are the most buggy ....

I am seeing a freeze too when I try to change the transition on the arrival page. The simulator just completely hangs and I have to quit from the task manager.

Ive just had this happen to me as well.

I was looking forwards to get the a350 on release. But with these issues persisting on all planes, I can assume it will happen to the 350 as well.

On sim update 1 beta .22 build I have had 2 avionics freeze events when entering the arrival. Selected the arrival runway and went to select the arrival STAR and all of the avionics froze up. The first time it happened I was on the ground so I restarted the flight and it worked fine when I tried again. The second time I was en-route so had to just end the flight. A330-300GE. Same here, since SU1 I have avionic freeze when entering a SID or STAR while on the ground. WASM folder cleared as well. Very annoying.

Well, here we are, in Beta 2 of Flight Simulator 2024, and surprise, surprise — still no sign of a fix for the A330. The freezing issues continue, and honestly, it feels like nothing is being done about it. It's almost like a permanent feature at this point
