P/B lights brightness too dim

Featured Replies

Hello Team,

from what I recall from my uncounted Flights on the A300/A310 cockpit, the real world pushbutton lights are much brighter than on the INI A300.

Even if I set the lights to BRT, they look still far to dim for me.

Best regards,

Toto

Edit:

It's not only the P/B lights on the overhead that are too dim.
It's also the P/B lights on the FCU, on the Main Panel ( such as Autobrake and TRP ) an even the EFB is too dim ( at least during daytime ).

Thank you and best regards,

Toto

Thank you very much indeed!

I‘m on VR ( Varjo Aero ) I should mention and maybe this is the cause. I‘ve cranked up the brightness of my headset to maximum, but that didn‘t fix the problem.

I‘ve been on a flight yesterday with bright sunlight.
All P/B lights, not only on the overhead, but also on main panel & pedestal, were so dim that they were almost unvisible. Also the numbers on the COM / ILS / VOR / ADF selector were almost unreadable.

Same is true for the EFB, although it was cranked up to 100% brightness.

Best regards

I'd like to second this comment. All the push switch and annunciator lights on full bright look more like the dim position in the actual aircraft. in daylight conditions the lights are pretty hard to see.

One year later and still the same issue?

Shouldn‘t be too hard to modify…
