Hi Eddie, thanks for getting back to me on this - very much appreciated! Personally I think the wing looks beautiful and you've done a great job, but if people find things to be inacurrate and you're willing to rework those areas, these are even better news! Thank you! -
Hi everyone, I've seen this suggestion before, but at that time, you weren't able to control lights via the FAP and the cabin ready logic wasn't implemented. I wonder if you can link those two together and create an easy cabin light automation, so that whenever the cabin is ready for takeoff or landing, the cabin lights automatically get dimmed and maybe turned on again when the seatbelt signs are turned off in the air or at the stand respectively. So the logic would be: Steabelt signs on + cabin is ready = lights dimmed else lights are bright. Additionally you could check for time of day (or sunlight brightness?) so that lights stay untouched at daytime. This would add another level of realism. Cheers!

Hi Steve, Thanks for sharing your perspective. I can totally agree that you released a lot of updates in a narrow timeframe, incorporating user feedback and improving a lot of aspects. There's no doubt about this, and it is something you've been doing ever since I've known you. I also understand that the amount of feedback is surely challenging to handle for your still "small" team relative to the number of customers. Lots of people, all with their personal concerns and issues, often enough (I work in IT π ) unknowingly caused by themselves or the quirks of the simulator. And this is where my personal experience diverges from your explanation. I'll share two very easy examples. Yes, they reflect personal interest, are absolutely minor and may be of no use or interest for other people that experience performance issues (which I don't due to beefy gear). Still, they're something that's obviously not correct. Take these two reports: The one from April has been replied to with the typical "it's been forwarded to the team". The one from March has been tagged with "bug" and "support", which I understand is also some kind of logging? What I don't understand here is why, 3-4 months in, your entire art team (consisting of insanely talented people!) was not able to rectify two extremely easy animation issues β probably a matter of 30 minutes in total. Instead, even after repeatedly asking for a state on these, there's no reply whatsoever. If you replied that this has no priority or it's an insane amount of work to be fixed, I'd understand. But if I'm left alone over the course of months, things get frustrating and disappointing. Explain yourself to people. If you openly tell everyone that you're currently unable to fix/improve/change "AB" because "XY" has higher priority or you're simply don't know how to, they will understand. But leave them in the dark and they will get angry. I don't have any insights to why things may not be happening, so that's just my personal, naive advice due to my experience. And I can observe that others have similar experiences. You have so much potential, please don't waste it. π€

I can only agree with what has been said here. Being an ini customer since their very first aircraft, the A300 for X-Plane, I've since noticed a pattern that has remained consistent over the years. Products with the potential to be revolutionary for their time are being released, updates with new features incorporating some user feedback being rolled out and then it slowly turns into abandonware once other products follow. The A350 aswell as all other ini products have huge potential and are in no way low quality. What they lack though is polishing. Polishing is something that doesn't generate any short term revenue though. Product care generates good reputation and good reputation binds long term customers. Unfortunately it's totally understandable that you don't need those because you're a company with high volume contracts with Microsoft/Asobo and have an easily accessible audience. If I ran my company for the money, I'd probably do business the same way ini does. If I'm passionate about aviation and want to be a part of the flightsim community, I'd rather thrive for consistent product care and listen to my customers. And coincidentally that's the way each and every reputable flightsim dev pursues nowadays. You can't blame ini for what they do, they deliver what they sell - no more, no less. What you can do is reconsider spending your money on ini products if product care is something you value. I still have hopes that there's passionate people on their team and the A350 has a bright future, however I won't spend any more time and thoughts on it, as I've been fooled too many times before.

Here we are two weeks later with another update. Fancy visual stuff has been added which is highly appreciated, meanwhile not one of the issues mentioned above has been taken care of. After initial release, every report was taken into account, and now there's radio silence - it feels like talking to a brickwall. I'm really curious what happened? Also no reaction or comment to my questions so far - I guess I'll take that as an answer. At least the cabin packs have been reconsidered since, which has been a good descision. Thank you!

Hello everyone, I'd rather not write these line, however we've come to a point where I'd like to voice some serious concern regarding your product care policy. Today we celebrate the release version 1.1.0 and the ULR, with the product being described in a "more mature state" and the update cycle shifting to a slower pace. With this "mature state" in mind, I'd like to remind you of some visual issues that still persist and some of them apparently have not even been acknowledged at all to this day. While I'm a positive person who has a lot of good faith in store for each and every developer and I can totally understand that issues have to be prioritized, I start observing a behaviour that doesn't make too much sense to me. With these issues outstanding, it would appear that there have to be more important tasks for the art department to complete beforehand. What I'm seeing now however is new - paid - cabin packs being released and an A340 being teased. All of that with the A350 - and also the A300 btw, which fights similar issues - being left behind. The A300 for example just got it's non-fitting gear fixed with the new - paid - premium version and is now suffering from new LOD issues - still to be acknowledged and fixed. Also the gear has never been fixed in the initial 2020 product. This inevitably brings me to the conclusion that new sales have a certain priority over product care and I fear that this trend will continue throughout upcoming products. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you don't update your planes - the amount of updates and content we recieved for free since release is amazing! - it's just that for the art department, I'm concerned about it's priorities. You've set the bar so high with your overall visual quality, then these things keep happening and it takes literal years to see any fixes that are mostly 5-minute-tasks . I understand that iniBuilds is a commercial enterprise and you have every right to earn revenue for your overall great products. Personally I will think twice about future iniBuilds purchases as long as things are handled like this. In the meantime I'll sit quietly and hope that things will be adressed when the time is right. Even if it takes another two years. It may be a very personal issue being so disturbed by modelling issues and people might call me crazy, but it's hard for me having any fun with the A350 when things cumulate like this. I'm just disappointed and a little frustrated at this point, and I really needed to voice my thoughts on this. Maybe some of this makes sense! If thereβs a legitimate reason for why things are prioritized the way they are, please enlighten me. If you feel things are fine the way they are, let me know aswell. Iβd just like to know what to expect from the future. Thank you for reading!

Aft cargo door misaligned and mesh issue

Hello again, may we see a fix for this at some point in the not so distant future? It's probably about 2 minutes of work rotating the animation axis to it's correct position. I know you've got your priorities, but I'm sure someone can find a spot for this little bugger in their tight schedule. π Cheers! -

Hi everyone, first of all a big thank you for the latest update and adressing a lot of the visual aspects! A little something I'd like to pass on to you: The main gear appears to be missing a lot of texture/faces. Parts of the bogie aswell as the brake discs are invisble. That's not only happening for me but can also be seen on your preview screenshot of the glowing brakes. Maybe you can take a look? Cheers!

Hi everyone, before getting into this one, I'd like to leave some appreciation for the ini team. The way you listen and care since release is nothing we should take for granted in the flightsim world. Thank you for this and keep up the amazing work! Now back to business: I've noticed that on v 1.0.7 the entire aft cargo door is misaligned when opened. Also on the left edge of the door, the mesh has some issues. Cheers!

Hi everyone, I've just noticed a little inconsistency I'd like to pass on. On Flaps full, the inboard linkage on the outboard flaps is clipping through the flap actuator shaft, aswell as the wing's edge. This is especially noticeable during rollout with the spoilers fully extended. I totally understand that your art department probably has absolutely no idea or documentation about where this goddamn rod goes during retraction. π I can't tell either, however I've at least found some footage showing that it's actually mounted higher up on the wing than it currently is in sim: Adjusting this should at least eliminate the clipping. Maybe you can take a look? Cheers!

Hi everyone, a tiny detail I just noticed: There's something with the material of the economy headrests. The z-order of the material in itself is glitching on some of the headrests: Also some of the headrests are clipping into the backrest: Small details, but this cabin deserves every attention. π Cheers!

Aileron rubber seals clipping

Just one little more moan if I may. π At the outboard end of the ailerons, there's some more clipping going on when theyre drooping: Should be a quick fix. Hello everyone, as already mentioned on the Discord (aswell as for the A330 before), the strobe lights and beacon are not synced up in their sequence. Rather than having a fixed timing between the flashes, the spacing between strobes and beacon depends on when you switch on the respective lights. This is not how it's working on Airbus aircraft. Here you can see the correct timings that won't change regardless of when you switch on the lights. I hope you can take a look, this is really immersion breaking on any night flight! Hi everyone, I'd like to pass on two minor inconsistencies on the cargo doors. On both doors, there's a decal layer that misses animations, resulting in floating decals when the doors are opened. Aditionally, as marked on the screen shot, the cylinder on the FWD cargo door is clipping into the hinge when opened. Kind regards!

And pretty much all of these black rings around the piping look really sloppy - hovering, clipping all over the place. Could be an LOD issue and needs some kind of refinement. It doesn't do the amazing compartment any justice. π -
Hi everyone, diving deeper into this amazing bird, I've noticed two areas inside the avionics bay that could need a little refinement. At the nose cone area, there's some gaps in the mesh, revealing the outside. (Second post incoming, i am only allowed to upload 657 kB in images right now)

Gear clipping into fuselage

Small update on this one: It appears to only be present on the left gear of the -900. The right one aswell as the entire -1000 are fine. -
Yes, the cabin causes an abysmal decrease in performance, even on top tier systems. I'm on a 7950X3D and a 5090 and even without caring about VRAM (aircraft with cabin hits about 26GB at Aerosoft EDDF if anyone is curious), the amount of polys is just too high for any modern CPU to not get limited. With the performance mode on and texture resolution on high, I'm only getting about 45FPS on my system, which isn't even smooth with Multiframe Generation because of all the texture reloading going on when panning around. I hope that ini can do some optimization on that. As incredible this cabin looks, I doubt anyone with an interest in a smooth sim experience will ever realistically use the cabin version.

Hi everyone, the access door for the forward avionics bay has some substantial issues with animations and geometry. The inside handle entirely misses animations The door is missing a hinge and has no backfaces The inside hatch is not opening, resulting in the outside door just clipping through. What's the point of opening the door if there is no access? The entire cutout is missing edge polys, resulting in gaps all around the opening Kind regards

Hello everyone, I fear iniBuilds gear animations slowly become my new nemesis, as I just had intense A300-flashbacks on this one. The gear clips heavily into the fuselage with both the wheels and the bogie linkages. This time though, this is clearly a result of the bogie struts being way too retracted. Would the wheels actualy sit where they belong inside the bay, this clipping would most probably not even occur. Just don't let the struts retract that much and we should be fine. Hi everyone, first of all thank you for this mental masterpiece of an airplane. The amount of detail that went into this is out of this world! One small niggle that caught my eye during walkaround was the rubber seals on the ailerons. Whenever they reach strong deflection to either side, the rubber tends to clip and create artifacts. Maybe you can do some polishing on that area? Thank you!

Hi everyone, when airborne, the wingflex animation appears to cause most of the flap track fairings to start clipping into the flaps. Can you take care of this? Thanks!
