The A330 is messing up again at my system. Like every time before, it happened suddenly, but continuously, without having changed anything. It wasn't even after a MSFS 2024 update.
So, what happens:
- Several knobs don't illuminate or don't go extinguish, when pressed. For example: The "FD" button. the "AP1" and "AP2" buttons, the APU buttons, the "CSTR" button,... They are functional, but their state isn't visible, they remain in the state of illumination as they have been when the flight initialized.
- Manually inserting waypoints (into discontinuities) creates a huge mess in the ND. They are not recognized, neither by the FMGC, nor by the AP. However, they do show up in the ND, but "additionally" to the old waypoints. From that point, even the DIR function doesn't overwrite any waypoint before the DIR point. The AP flies it correctly, but the ND shows a mess of casual lines, the more DIR you enter, the more wrong lines.
- Fuel calculation is completely wrong. The FMGC calculates too much consumption, thus showing values up to -90 tons for the destination, however, when I arrive, I have 40 tons too much onboard. I've also got the impression, that the plane ignores time acceleration. So when it flies 2 hours in 4x mode, it burns the fuel for 2 hours, not for 8 hours, as it should.
- The plane "half" starts the engines as soon as the APU bleed is switched on (!), even before the engine mode selector is in IGN/START position. If you then start the engines by procedure, it only starts "the rest", which is basically only a few seconds to full idle.
I already have deleted the WASM folder, which resulted in no change. So, I have no idea, which direction I should troubleshoot in. Have you got an idea, what could be so wrong here. Similar things already happened before, then, they have suddenly disappeared (without action), and suddenly came again (and again without any action by my side). Only happens in the A330, no such problems so far in the A350 or the A300.

The only thing that works is the OIS, back to the hangar the plane goes. This very frustrating that I paid money for this aircraft and it will not work, this has been happening again again and again.

I am sorry to hear this is happening and we will be continuing to root out WASM issues, SU3 has fixes for some WASM but isnt yet compatible for the A350. If you don't want to join the Discord group please could you report the WASM issue like this.

-AV Exception: Ensure the install (or iniManager) is not getting flagged by any antivirus software that may be wrongly deleting/quarantining files. Add exceptions for your FS Community folder as well as iniManager app.,
-Addon Conflict: Try running with just KJFK in your community folder to rule out any "conflicts" with other installed addons leading to the above issue.,
-Scenery Index: Try clearing your scenery indexes and try againKindest

All other sounds are working great. I have reinstalled the plane and deleted the A350 WASM folder a few times with no change. I am not on the beta 3. Headphone simulation is turned off.This has been addressed in our internal build and will be resolved in the next update. Thanks for the reports!

On the flaps sound issue , flaps extension on air sounds different from when extending on ground in real life... (seems like it, wonder why different A350s have different flap sounds) the sound sounds deeper
reference (flaps 1+f on ground sound):
When flaps 1 is extended on-air for landing , it sounds different than when extending flaps 1 for take-off on the ground , here is the reference.

SU3 is not officially compatible with the A350 atm, SU3 is still Beta. I would advise returning to SU2.
Please also ensure your following the correct path for WASM when deleting.
And finally we are 100% determined to stamp on WASM related bugs and are going for a big push to do so.

Hello, sorry to hear this, have you tried deleting your Inimanger in the Roaming folder? Try a reinstall and go to User, App Data, Roaming and delete the Inimanger folder. Then reinstall.
