  1. I did do a quick test to ensure this performance issue did not have to do with the scenery/ AI traffic by removing both factors in my test.

Without any addon scenery or AI traffic my FPS in the cockpit holds around 30 FPS.

Outside the FPS drops to 15-20 FPS. The system will lag harder whilst panning. Not sure if there may be room to improve the exterior modeling?

  2. After playing around with this aircraft a little, I have noticed that the exterior model may need further optimization.

I can easily pan my camera around with little lag when in the cockpit; however, when panning outside there are consistent stutters.

  3. I too have tried to be patient loading this product; however, I have now waited over 45 minutes for it to load.

I have had many high fidelity products in the past but none of them ever took this long.

Not sure if there are any tips to assist. 45+ minutes to load a new aircraft is not typical.

Hi all, we've just pushed V1.04 to the iniManager, please let us know feedback on performance on this version

So far no changes in performance for me. Honestly the modeled interiors if they could be toggled off that might help.

  5. Out of curiosity is there another planned update to help with LOD optimisation. All sceneries I have LAX, LHR, SAT have awful FPS stuffers. I have lowered my textures and graphics settings to medium which is VERY low for the type of computer I am running. Every other addon I have added (airports/ planes) have never effected the simulator to this extent 😞 I use AIG traffic but that only takes 5 FPS.

  6. Hey there. I now own 3 inibuilds sceneries and noticed that all of them take a HUGE chunk out of my GPU. Any chance you could list the "ideal" settings in MSFS to help with performance. I have AIG installed and GSX which I would love to have work with these sceneries without disruption 🙂 I constantly get CTD errors when loading these sceneries.

  7. Update: finally got a full take off roll without any error messages. Will be playing around with settings to see what works and looks best bc I miss my lovely ground world textures at 200 LOD haha 😉

HIgh uses 100% albedo (Color) resolution and 50% normal map/PBR map, it is essential especially with higher hitting packages, KSAT at ultra is somewhere around 6GB of textures, you cut that in half and lose barely noticable/un-noticeable quality. I would literally, only ever use ultra if I was running a 3090TI, with it's 24GB of VRAM.

Let me adjust the settings to the ones you reccomend! Thanks for being so patient 🙂

  9. Ah shoot! I have a RTX 2070 super if that is what you were asking. And that is too bad that the scenery can't run smoothly in ultra. All of my other payware sceneries work fine. EGLL obviously has some issues but that is mainly because of the city optimisation issues.

  10. Did some further research. Since SU10 update there is no way to regenerate the content.xml after delete. Not sure if this affects your advise. I tried opening the sim again after trying the steps again and same message.

    Hi,

Yes, we do have further updates planned for KSAT to help improve performance, including replacing some of the default photogrammetry which seems to be the cause of the loss of performance.

Oh perfect! The scenery is lovely just the stutters and FPS drops are very annoying because it's not a "large" airport that usual would have issues.
