I suggest you either study the manual, or go find one of the many videos on the boobtube and watch that, this is a VERY complex plane, if you wanted to jump into something on the runway, push the trottle and go you picked the wrong thing to fly. BTW, Beta is over, you should have the production version now, but I don't know that's your problem, I never had problems with Beta either. Maybe update the sim, and then uninstall/reinstall the plane from the Inibuild Manager. Good luck!

A350-900 don't has Wheels and all buttons don't work in cockpit MSFS2024
jaybird replied to Giova369_Lucky's topic in Systems
Ah, I guess you selected the no-has-wheels option 🙃 OK, seriously now, do your other planes have wheels? Do you mean in the world after it spawned or in the menu display? Really guys, how would you like to solve a problem with only this much information, do you think you could do it? Problem/bug reports need DETAIL, otherwise how can anyone hope to figure it out?? Jack -
Simple flow, and it works for me every time, so find what you are doing differently: Start at cruise, whatever it is right, then adjust altitude setting to something lower, in many cases I just set it all the way to my ILS capture point. Watch your flight display, look for the TOD symbol, when you are oh 10 miles before it, but the exact amount doesn't matter, however what does matter is you're BEFORE it, now position cursor over altitude knob so you see an UP arrow, left click mouse. That's it. It may not be an instant response, but it will start descent. Remember - up arrow is push to computer, down arrow is pull to pilot. So, you push, and now flight computer controls descent, it will not only start descent but it will adjust it and respect constraints on the RNAV descent path you might be on. I updated the plane, the sim, they are the latest, and I just did a flight this morning, it works.

I'd vote for having it completely user selectable as well, but having it being consistent when you do decide 🙂

Why can't the a350 do 19 hours from KJFK TO WSSS
jaybird replied to ErickPinedo's topic in Suggestions
Do a google search for "A350 ULR", you'll find that there are significant modifications to the standard plane, and we don't have that model, so it's no big surprise you cant make the range. -
FIRST ATTEMPT ON 2024 after simupdate1, just CTD's... one after another..
jaybird replied to latamsimpilot's topic in Systems
Wow, you're WAY more patient than me, I would've declared the sim hung long before that, LOL... Errr, did you check your sim version, what does it display? Assume you did the clean WASM procedure? -
LOL, man that's the hard way of doing things 😁 Just use the OIS, flight ops, and push the SimBrief button there...

I would not try to enter a plan manually, first get the automatic case to work 🙂

So, speaking of "again and again", I've loaded and imported flight plans again and again. Always works. That means either you are missing a step, or something in your setup is causing a weird problem. What about removing anything in Community you might have added?

You dont need to do it "again and again", using the Navigraph hub, its either uptodate or it isn't...

There's a principle in scientific/logical method, called falsification. Your hypthosis, that the A350 is broken, implies that all users should see the issue. But I dont and I am not alone. So it can't be the A350 pure and simple, instead it must be the A350 in YOUR environment, saying other airplanes work doesn't mean anything, its been pointed out over and over that the Fenix works primarily independently of the sim, this doesnt. I tried some suggestions, if they dont help it must be something else... I hope you figure it out, Jack

Maybe something broken in the plan? What if you choose a different route?
-
You can do two things, first as DroneSim noted, the no-cabin option is in the configuration menu for the aircraft, select that. But also, using IniBuilds external manager, you can select to install reduced cockpit textures. I am using both, and they have certainly helped me. Jack

I was running the beta, am now on the official release, it's not the plane, it's working with no issue for me. Did you clear out your community folder, I've seen reports of that being a cause of problems. Am enroute on a flight as I post this, and it doesn't crash, its even running 4x compression.. purring along like a kitten 😀

Why do people, when having issues just blame the plane, I have no issue in control, on the ground, in the air, not jerky, not weightless... but I did struggle to get the whole sim configuration right for some time. I fly both the 350 and premium 300 and they seem to be well-behaved for me. I would humbly suggest you pursue your configuration, or even hardware, it isn't the A350. Jack
