  1. You're gonna kick yourself... I know I did at one point in the past too, but this issue is because you don't have the FD on 🙂 It doesn't come on by default, it has to be toggled. I had a lot of pain over this personally, hope it solves your problem as well!! Jack
  2. This is a freebie so it's understandable if it doesn't have all the features of say the 350 🙂 which autosteps perfectly btw. I'm also one of those who really like the 330 P2F, so maybe Inibuilds could make an "advanced" or "premium" version of the plane that would have such features?? I'd certainly pay for a good upgrade! As an afterthought, does anyone know if the real plane can even do that? I certainly don't know. Jack
  3. Errrr, how bout if you DON'T load an incorrect plan initially, then will things work? This description is confusing, makes it hard to know exactly what your failure is. Cheers, Jack
  4. There is an even worse issue for all three, which makes me think its shared code, the autothrottle is broken is how I would describe it, this is using Thrustmaster TCA, on take-off it sets Flex detent fine, all goes well until 1500 ft and its time to drop to Climb thrust, no matter what I do it refuses to find it, this is NOT a calibration issue, in the calibration screen all detents are set. Furthermore, the hardware/config setup works flawlessly in Fenix and in Headwind. Also this seems to keep LNAV from enabling as well, so the plane is completely useless. It was like this in Beta and now it's the same in SU3 release, I am baffled about how MS/Inibuilds could pass beta testing, unless maybe they don't do any?? I was going to check on the A350... except its even worse, I can't even get it to power on at the gate... ROFL... I laugh until I cry 😞
  5. On a related note, I don't have all the problems of the OP, but what IS very broken is the throttle control, after takeoff I'm in a Flex mode, but when prompted to climb thrust I drop back on my Thrustmaster to what SHOULD be climb, and it never see's it 😞 This also means that LNAV never kicks in apparently, so effectively its dead in the proverbial water. It's not my hardware, so is this likely to be SU3? Its a REAL hassle switching between Live and Beta thanks to the way they do things.... I'd just like to know if it will likely fix my problem, I want to fly cargo in the 330. Thanks
  6. The premium version that I own is at 1.0.4, the marketplace version is later. So what's the deal, will we get this new version??
  7. I was afraid of this 😞 Oh well, career mode is so broken in ways that have nothing to do with the chosen plane, ie ATC stupidity, airport selection, etc... that I probably couldn't stand it anyway... Thanks for the confirmation! Jack
  8. With real airplanes you either fly with an instructor if, say, you are learning, as I did in a 172, or later on you need to get "type" rated which involves learning the plane, kinda like that thing simmers are so fond of, "study" aircraft, lol. In no case would you take to the skies not knowing where everything is 🙂
  9. Before I buy this great looking aircraft I was hoping someone could tell me if it's actually available NOW in career mode missions? The PR is a bit vague and I realized it was possible that all they are saying is its "compatible" or "capable", I want to know if I buy it whether it will show up as usable? And, if not when? Thanks, Jack
  10. Thanks Eddie, I'll check on this over the weekend 🙂
  11. Ah, cool, thanks for pointing that out, I will install it, but I'd still like to see this in the manager, that way you know it's kept compatible.
  12. The livery is quite pretty, and as it happens they are a partner to Delta, which is my VA, so I'd appreciate getting their colors. Pretty please? Jack
  13. Either one of you aeronautical engineers, I know I'm not, so where do you get off with dogmatic assertions about what "should" be the behavior? I have a sim that predicts how much fuel is needed in a flight, and you know, that amount seems to work, I arrive at my destination. And I have a sim that predicts what TOD is, and when I descend there, and have the flight computer control it, you know what, I arrive at the IAF to my approach at the correct altitude. To this amatuer that means its working pretty well. I have no interest in further debate on the matter...
  14. "Managed" descent means it is calcuating a veritical path, not that it is following some fixed throttle behavior, if you initiate descent early it will follow a shallower path, the small green dot on the altitude tape shows that it is above/below/on that path. Behavior has seemed correct in my flights.
  15. Its you guys, the speed display works as does the autopilot... I've flown two long hauls in the last two days without issue. You both say you are taking the covers off but this SURE sounds like you haven't, are you absolutely sure?? These are the covers way up right on the nose right? If you don't get an update to the speed tape on the take-off roll, then that's why... Hope you solve it!
