Hi everyone, The NAMC YS-11 is in the marketplace, but there is no option for a free trial. Only the "buy" and the "buy and download" options that send me straight to the full purchase in Steam. That's in MSFS 2020 Steam edition. Anyone can tell me how to try it it for 1 day ? Thanks !

When the plane touches the ground, the chicks and GPU appears… it disappears a few seconds later. Chocks and GPU off in the EFB doesn’t affect the landing at all, but I don’t think that was supposed to happen 😅

I've been trawling the internet in search of information on the YS-11 in order to make more meaningful and helpful bug reports that will hopefully propel this add-on towards a greater level of completeness and accuracy. I've turned up very little, so far, but I found this interesting anecdote regarding performance on PPRuNe from an ex-Piedmont YS-11 pilot that aligns with some feedback I've seen here and on the MSFS forums regarding performance, particularly after takeoff: I hope this is useful to the devs.

Hello, While reviewing the iniBuilds NAMC YS-11 documentation, I noticed a discrepancy regarding the aircraft’s maximum range. According to the official iniBuilds YS-11 manual, the aircraft is capable of a maximum range of approximately 1,140 NM. However, within MSFS 2020, the aircraft information panel currently shows a maximum range of ~540 NM, and the corresponding SimBrief aircraft profile flags any flight beyond this distance as exceeding the aircraft’s maximum range. Uploading from the FS2002-era AFG documentation which copied in parts of a real-world flight manual. This is the ONLY documentation I can find online from the real source. Perhaps AFG can code it in to the EFB or as a clip on the yoke?

Are there any plans to add a freighter version? few operated in USA as I remember.
