Hi. I work as Aircraft B2 Engineer for an european Airline with a rather large A340 fleet... 😉 One thing I REALLY miss concerning the soundscape of your A340 ist that VERY LOUD "clonk" sound of all the relays and breakers switching when you turn on EXT Power on ground from the cold and dark state. You must have surely heard this one during your research on the real aircraft and know what I mean?! Can you please add this one. It's such a typical sound when powering on aircraft... regards, Benni

Hi, does the A340 not have any cabin announcements, or am I doing something wrong? They're great in the A350, and I think it's a shame if the A340 doesn't have them.

EXTERIOR: At cruise, the sound is far too quiet, there is not much of a roar from the engines, or wind. There should be some sort of environmental wind sound that should more or less drown out the engines anyway. The whine from the engines isn't quite right. The 4 CFM56's are quite screachy as they accelerate past 40% and up to takeoff power. You can quite regularly hear them slightly out of sync making some cool harmonies! Buzzsaw sound is too distant, it sounds as if the aicraft is 2KM away, should be more buzzy and intense. INTERIOR: The CFM56-5's on the A320/340 accelerate very slowly up until 30-40% N1, after that they accelerate very rapi…

I put the master cursor and the engine one to the max setting. However, engines are too quiet outside and inside. What really disappointing is the engines sound from cockpit and business galley (so every places in the front of the engines). We barely hear the typical roaring sound of the CFM even with a full sound up. Fenix does it very well sorry. In addition, I was seating in biz galley as a cabin crew for 3 years in this machine. I know it.

Hello, I recently purchased the a340 and am loving it. However I noticed while switching views into the cabin that there was a really disproportionately loud sound in the cabin. I discovered it was the fuel pumps causing the noise, but also realized that if I walked the camera out of the cockpit door and into the cabin and then switched to a cabin view, the loud fuel pump sound went away. I'm not very technical but I would assume it has something to do with the spatial audio? I've attached a video to this post demonstrating the difference in sound, I think its easier to just see my issue. I also notice that the same thing occurs in flight with the environmental noise…

After a long time of not flying the 340 I noticed that on the latest version the engine sounds are completely messed up. Left engine fan (whine) sound are more audible from behind the left wing and vice versa, the right engines buzzaw is more audible behind the right wing rather than in front of the engines (where it should be) and the high thrust low frequency rumble is more audible from the cockpit rather than from behind the engines + some other mishaps... what on earth has happened with the sound design here?

Hi, The vibration/turbulence sound the speedbrakes generate, continue until after landing when reversers are off but SPD BRK is still armed and thus deployed. Theoretically, this sound should become less audible the slower the aircraft becomes and should not be heard at all after landing or when the aircraft is taxiing.

Hi, Adding bugs from my 1st flight to the different relevant areas: This one: no ground sound in taxi. I could just hear a little ground rattle at Vr speed, possibly suggesting the whole sound sample is just too low? My sounds in MSFS2024 are all at 100%, except Character Voices which is set to 0. Just bought this from iniBuilds manager, not Marketplace. MSFS2024 SU4 v1.0.7 Jan 15, 2026 Thanks, Daniel

Hello, I've noticed that with the latest update (1.0.1), the GPWS is not announcing certain callouts, such as '90', '80', '70', and '60'. All other callouts are working fine. Any ideas? Thanks !

Looking at streams, the hundred above has not been changed, hope that gets changed before this update with other fixes and the VIP (which I personally don't care for) Also, any news on an a350 update soon? ^The same thing also has to be changed for the a350 although you guys are aware in other threads.

Not the same tone and sound completely different to the rest of the callouts. A youtube video that the sounds team can probably rip it from: Very loud and high quality just needs some noise isolation

This only applies to the left side of the cabin (left wing view and left engine view). When you are in front of the engine and you wear headphones it sounds like the engine sound source is completely to your left (9 o clock) even though in your engine view, the engines are at your 10-11 o clock view so the sound source should be in front of you and to the left, not completely to the left. Behind the wing, you can hear the engine high pitch whine which you don't hear irl behind the wing. The right wing does not have this issue as far as I can tell

I've noticed that the A340 flight deck seems pretty quiet with regards to these sounds, compared to the A330, for example. I can barely tell the A340 has power because the hum and ventilation sounds are very quiet.

Hi team, I've noticed that the engine sounds seem to mainly be coming from engines 1+2 (rear left). Engines 3+4 do make some sound, however they're considerably quieter, leading to the stereo image feeling very left-biased. This is exhibited in v1.0 and v1.01. All sound sliders are at default values, and MSFS sound settings are all at 100. Here's a video which demonstrates it - listen carefully, and look at the throttle inputs: https://streamable.com/h9ogkl

Description of bug - when changing views from inside > outside > back to inside, the fuel pump sounds disappear from the cabin. Steps to reproduce: - Power up plane - Switch on all fuel pumps - Move to an overwing cabin view - you can clearly hear the pumps - Switch to outside view - Switch back to overwing cabin view - the pumps are no longer audible. If you cycle the pump switches in the cockpit, the sounds will return. Thanks all!

BARO Knob Left, Center and Right generate no sound when turning, which isn't true to life. There is also no Sound when changing it from Hg to hPa. The entire Weather Radar Panel also generates no sound, even though in the real aircraft they generate these clicking sounds on rotation. Thanks for fixing this in the near future.

Hello! Here to report a bug... The A340's MCDU keys don't have any sound when you're close to the unit. However, if you move the camera behind the unit, right above the speedbrake handle, you'll hear the MCDU key sounds kick back in. Congrats on the release and hope to see what's in store!
