Modelling & Texturing

  1. Hello, as title says. Strobe light isn't visible in wingview or outside view. Even if strobe swtich is forced to "ON" pos.

Hello togehter, did my first testflight and after landing noticed several red lights and stripes on both MLG. On the landing gear beam it's relatively solid (stripe) and in the strut and gear bay, small dots. Brake temp was only 75° (cause did a ferry/very light flight, not much braking needed in FRA). On the picture I tried the best angle to show... It's visible from all angles. Best regards Floh

  3. Hi all, At night, even with the dome lights on (even in storm mode), the overhead remains pitch black. Agreed, the dome lights are not shining directly on the overhead, but the reflection on the whole cockpit would make it a least somewhat illuminated. That would help us better see the position of the switches during cockpit preparation of night flights. This would probably not be a high priority improvement, but still nice to have. I also use the opportunity of this post to give you a more general feedback. Overall, I very much enjoy this plane. Beautiful graphics, systems could see some improvements but are perfectly good enough for a normal flight (consi…

Hi, I watched a few videos and could always see that the beacon light on engines 2 and 3 is reflected at night. However, this isn't the case with the add-on. thx simon

  5. Hi! I've bought the airliner and installed it. I would love to create my own livery, but i would like to modify more than files given in official paint kit... I would also love to adjust comp layers for fuselage and engines, minor details of interior (like seat screens, seat colors, add a little sticker with available weights in cockpit, etc.). Where can I find the base texture folder? Or is it possible to enrich the paint kit with at least comp layers for fuselage? I've gone through packages and community folders and found nothing... 😞 Edit: Even though I've found those textures, I'm unable to open them... Photoshop screams about unknown supercompression sch…

Hi there, Great addition to fleet, I just noticed the strobes are not working. I set them to both AUTO and ON, and no strobes. 🙂

Hi everyone, I've noticed during walkaround that there's some stuff going on around the ACU panel. There are some screw decals that clip into the panel and also have no animation, resulting in them staying in place when the panel is opene The piston also has no animation and moves with the door in it's entirety. Also the air hoses don't line up with the inlets. Nothing big, but maybe worth refining. 😊 Kind regards

Please remove the collision boxes in the cabin and from the pilot seats. They are just annoying and you get stuck very easily. There is no point in keeping them. I wanna be able to move freely. Thanks! 🙂

It's a weird one, but was an issue I reported before on the MSFS forums regarding the A330. In drone camera, the lighting and shadows look perfect! In spot camera though, the engines seemingly don't produce their own shadows. Other structures can still cast shadows as normal on them though, just not the engine nacelles themselves. Drone camera... LOOKS GOOD! Spot camera... LOOKS BAD AND CARTOONISH! GOOD! BAD, BOOOOO 👎 If there's and questions or more help with reproducing the problem required, please let me know. I'm more than happy to help! Thanks, Jesse

on XBOX (SU4 Beta), the fixed camera views for the passenger views are misplaced, so you can barely see the wings. (In the A350, the passenger/cabin views are part of the cockpit views - that´s a huge improvement, because then you can use the controller for panning and flying the aircraft...) Regards, Timo

Hey folks, I’m mainly flying in VR (Quest 3 user here) and I’ve been thinking about picking up the iniBuilds A340. Before I pull the trigger, I just wanted to ask how it behaves in VR Any issues with mouse alignment or cockpit interaction precision? Do the push/pull knobs on the FCU work properly in VR? Any noticeable performance hits or rendering quirks i already have very good performance with fenix, PMDG 777 and I just hope the same with the A340. I’m a bit suspicious, to be honest, since the A350 doesn’t work that well in VR — so I’d love to know if the A340 is any better optimized for headset users. Basically just wondering i…

  13. Hi everyone, so while I'm in my first cruise with the new lady, let me pass on my inital batch of observations. Regarding the gear, some major issues are going on. When taxiing, the tyres don't spin and the right MLG aswell as the nose gear textures start to glitch out. This appears to be tied to the taxi speed. Kind regards

  14. Hi everyone, the right ailerons appear to have some issues with the decal layer. One decal is floating with an offset, all others are missing, compared to the left ones.

Hi everyone, I've noticed that all along the two main cockpit windows, there's a black rubber seal that isn't flush with the window, thus creating a gap all along the window edges. This is the same along the entire edges of both front windows: Hoping for a quick fix! Cheers and kind regards
