No Engine Shadows in Spot Camera

Featured Replies

It's a weird one, but was an issue I reported before on the MSFS forums regarding the A330.

In drone camera, the lighting and shadows look perfect! In spot camera though, the engines seemingly don't produce their own shadows. Other structures can still cast shadows as normal on them though, just not the engine nacelles themselves.

Drone camera... LOOKS GOOD!

If there's and questions or more help with reproducing the problem required, please let me know. I'm more than happy to help!

Thanks,

Hello,

This is a known platform-level issue that affects aircraft built using the modularity system (LODs) introduced with FS24.
This causes the shadows to behave oddly in the spot camera. We're aware and so is Asobo.

Apologies for the inconvenience.
