When using GSX PRO, linking SIMBRIEF, the Aircraft Type error will always be displayed.

Do you have the correct simbrief Porfile?

I had the same issue even with using the profile that is linked above. 

There was an update to GSX Pro that needed to take place. That happened either late Sunday or early Monday so make sure you go to your GSX installer and install the update that should be there waiting for you. After I updated the issue went away for me.

I've found that there isn't an aircraft.cfg file for GSX to read from for this aircraft.

Yup, this is a known issue, will be fixed in the next version 🙂

Interesting, I wonder why I stopped getting that error when I updated GSX?

This particular issue was able to be resolved directly with FSDT for GSX. For anyone else having this issue, please ensure your GSX installation is up to date.
