Yesterday, some friends and I noticed that in the FMC, the speeds of the ILS or RNAV approach fixes are, for example, at 250. So, if you arrive at the IAF at 200 for example, the aircraft accelerates out of nowhere but this is the FMC configuration, take a look at this...

I'll try to remember next time. I wonder if it's happening because my throttles are usually still positioned full forward from takeoff when I'm at TOD, so I'll try pulling them back to idle next time.
