Aircraft shuts down in flight after going into Options menu

Featured Replies

I was ascending out of San Diego when I decided to turn multiplayer back on. Once I returned to the aircraft the engines shut down.

This is what I did. I spawned on the runway with everything running and simply took off. Entering the ESC pause menu caused the engines to fluctuate wildly. See screenshots. I have a feeling that fuel flow is getting interrupted when entering the ESC menu. Screenshot sequence is bottom-to-top.

I actually got another report that the engines continue to consume fuel while in the pause menu; which I was also able to replicate.

So I´d assume you just ran out of fuel. I already logged this bug, should hopefully be fixed in the next build 🙂

I don't seem to be running out of fuel. I can do this several times and the engines always return to the A/T setting after unpausing.  It definitely seems related, though. But I'm glad you were able to replicate it!

My issue is that the aircraft just shuts down completely in flight. 4 times I took off 4 times the batteries turn off and it spins down. Any ideas?

Mixture control should effect the batteries though, which is why I didn´t bring that other threat up. If only the engines turn off, then yes, the mixture control is most likely the issue.

I'm in the air with her now. I'll know in about 2 hours

Sorry for the delay, had to head to work.  That was the issue. Once I got rid of mixture mapping it all went well
