Hi ,

I would like to report a serious stability issue with the A380 on Xbox Series X that started after updating the aircraft to version 1.0.1.

Before this update, the aircraft was generally usable and I was able to complete several flights with it.

Since installing version 1.0.1, however, the aircraft has become effectively unplayable for me.

The issue now appears almost immediately after loading the aircraft in a Cold & Dark state. Shortly after entering the cockpit, I receive the MSFS notification:

“Memory resources low – disabling avionics”

The avionics are then disabled / the displays go black, even before I have completed the normal aircraft setup or started the flight.

This is happening with the aircraft still on the ground and in Cold & Dark, so it does not appear to be related to a long flight, high scenery load, or extended simulator session.

My setup:

• Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

• Xbox Series X

• iniBuilds A380 version 1.0.1

I have already tried using the aircraft with performance-oriented settings, including:

• Performance Mode ON

• FX Performance Mode ON

• Reduced display refresh rate

• Reduced/disabled AI traffic and airport traffic

• Photogrammetry OFF

• Full restart of MSFS and Xbox, without Quick Resume

Despite this, the Memory Low warning can now appear immediately after loading the A380 Cold & Dark.

This behaviour is significantly worse than before version 1.0.1, when the aircraft was much more stable on the same console.

Could you please confirm whether there are any known memory regressions in version 1.0.1 on Xbox Series X, and whether this issue is currently being investigated?

I can provide screenshots/video showing the Memory Low notification and the avionics being disabled shortly after loading the aircraft.

A380 unflyable for me too also on Xbox. My livery’s are also pink checkered, wing flex is all weird. Very poor update overall

Are you able to test this at a non-populated area? Curious if the initial WASM compile is causing issues in the background when trying to load in.

If you have the aircraft downloaded, a simple reinstall should solve the pink texture issue. Alternatively if you stream the aircraft, there will be no issues.

I tried this solution immediately—after uninstalling all the liveries, too, and doing so repeatedly—but after every download, the subsequent installation fails!!!!

I imagine this is just one of MP's many issues; I’m not too fond of this agreement of yours—I’ve always bought my own planes and would have preferred a proprietary protection system!

Try streaming the aircraft instead of downloading it. That seems to be helping others.

Fellow Xbox X user here, this was the method I followed to update the aircraft and liveries so may help out.

• Uninstall the plane

• Uninstall the liveries

• Go to free flight and select any plane that isn't the A380 (no need to then go into a flight or anything, but just have selected another plane and then clicked save & back)

• Go to settings > online > set rolling cache to 1GB (results in the game prompting you that it will clear the cache)

• Once done, reset the cache to your chosen amount (I've done 64GB - no science behind that choice)

• Install the plane

• Install the liveries

After that go back and select the A380 and your chosen livery and all things being equal it should show fine, without any pink textures etc.

• Load the plane into an airport gate, give it a few minutes to settle

• Turn on batteries and ground power and align IRS and then just let it sit for a few min

• End flight, go back to main menu, close the MSFS2024 game, and reboot your xbox

Now go back into the sim and enjoy the plane as normal

No worries at all. Seems to be a bit of a dance doing updates on an Xbox, but hopefully it helps. Have to say the a380 and A350 are absolutely brilliant to use. Get a Qantas livery for the A350 and I'm set for life😆
