I imagine this is just one of MP's many issues; I’m not too fond of this agreement of yours—I’ve always bought my own planes and would have preferred a proprietary protection system!
I tried this solution immediately—after uninstalling all the liveries, too, and doing so repeatedly—but after every download, the subsequent installation fails!!!! Wow... an epic update, it seems!
