Hi,

I have noticed that the ini A340-300 seems to lift off the ground and climb away a lot better than its real world counterpart. This especially applies to the first and second takeoff segment.

Here's some irl footage showing the rotation and initial climb rate. Note that it rarely exceeds 1500fpm and stabilizes shy of 1000fpm.:

Is the team aware of these issues and looking to refine the lift coefficient or other variables related to the lift off and initial climb behavior?

Thanks for your feedback. As I mentioned in your other post, comparing real-world variables to the sim can be difficult, especially since we don’t know the exact weight and balance, fuel load, number of passengers, or engine parameters from these videos.

I’ll pass this along to the team for further review. However, I cannot confirm whether or not these are considered “issues” at this time.

it is obviously not possible to do a 1:1 comparison, but even when taking off at MTOW the ini A340 climbs away faster than it should.
