22 hours ago22 hr Hi, regarding the recently shown Early-MSN (Batch 2) and Modern-MSN (Batch 7) configurations:Will the appropriate configuration be automatically selected based on the aircraft/livery/registration, at least for official iniBuilds liveries? For example, if I select a Lufthansa livery representing a specific D-AIMx aircraft, will the EFB automatically default to the configuration appropriate for that particular aircraft, or will Early/Modern MSN always have to be selected manually by the user? Also, are these two configurations intended to represent complete aircraft standards, or will individual equipment/system options be configurable separately?I really appreciate the dedicated and hard work inibuilds is putting in here, and I can't wait to fly the A380.
9 hours ago9 hr It'll probably be user selectable although unless someone from ini responds, you'll have to wait and see. Some option such as in the synaptic a220 aren't done with config.ini's which I actually find a bit annoying. Should be similar to their a350.
7 hours ago7 hr Actually, I'm not really a fan of aircraft setups like the A350, where some parts of the paint job are locked into a specific mode. I reckon that takes away a bit of the fun. But with freely customizable aircraft setups, you can keep things fresh and meet all sorts of different players' cockpit preferences to the fullest.
6 hours ago6 hr True. I prefer pmdg's system where livery painters can select the configuration, and you dont like it then you can change it. Not for it to be locked, maybe something that should be changed in V2. With a restore to original config would be nice.
