I've downloaded the terrain map via the INI manager, and put it in a community folder name "A220 terrain"

I clicked the EXE and it runs for a split second and then nothing. It does not work in game.

The log says this.

Hi,

Sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with the Synaptic A220 Terrain Radar.

As a workaround, I recommend manually downloading the required files from here. Once the download is complete, extract or place the folder somewhere convenient, such as your desktop. Please note that this folder does not need to be placed inside your Community folder.

From my own experience, the windows console opens automatically when launching the simulator. However, I've occasionally found that I need to close it and manually restart the server after the aircraft has finished loading.

I actually found a solution on the Synaptic discord:

delete the recent Map server folder at your current location

uninstall ini manager

delete ini manager data folders in /username/AppData/Local and in /username/AppData/Roaming

install ini manager again

install map server again

now it works perfectly for me!
