FMS Hung Up on FLPN UPLINK

Featured Replies

I keep trying to upload my Simbrief flight plan into the FMS, but it just stays stuck on Pending. I’m able to upload it into the EFB. My Simbrief username and password are entered correctly. Please help.

This bit here explains it below; try to reload the nav database for the "RELOAD DATA & SOFTWARE" Menu shown in the first half here; let me know if this helps

Hi,

Reloading the Database did work, and when I try to uplink the flight plan in the FMS it does say "Complete". But, it isn't actually loading the flight plan into the FMS. The funny thing is that it does load it into the EFB. Please help.

is a button that says Copy to Sec, select this, then at the top of FMS where it says ACT, click the drop down and enter SEC, in there you should be able to Activate Sec FPLN and this should populate the route section. You still need to fill in Origin and Departure. At least I have been.

Hi,

I had the same issue and tried to reload the software as you said, but it didn't help for me. However in my first a220 flight I didn't have this issue.

Ok, I got it to pull in the flight plan legs, but it's not showing the speeds and altitudes for each leg. I did use the EFB to calculate the take-off performance, and I did sync that to the FMS. But I don't why the speeds and altitudes for the legs aren't showing.

Hi,

Did you add your weight/balance and cruise altitude in your initial setup? That should populate the speed/altitude.

Thanks!

I am still having this issue with the 1.0.3 update. Checked simbrief login, ipad loads flt plan, stuck in pending on the FMS. Locks up the FMS and cant access SEC flight plan on the FMS either. Swapped and reloaded data bases and nothing helps.

Hi,

Just wanted to make sure that you're iniatially setting up your flight plan in the SEC flight plan page. Once you've executed it, it will automatically send it over to ACT.

Thanks!
