Thursday at 03:13 PM2 days Hi everyone,I’m reaching out to the community and the development team to spark a discussion about a project that I believe is long overdue for our simulator: Frankfurt Airport (EDDF).As we all know, EDDF is not just the busiest airport in Germany; it is one of the most significant hubs in Europe. Currently, we are facing a situation where this iconic location is missing a high-fidelity representation for the console platform entirely. With other developers confirming they won’t be pursuing a release for consoles, a massive gap remains in our simulation experience—one that users have had to endure for years.Furthermore, with the recent opening of Terminal 3, Frankfurt is more relevant than ever. Having a modern, up-to-date representation of this airport would be a massive upgrade for the sim. Given the expertise and the standard of quality that iniBuilds has consistently delivered, I believe this is the perfect project to fill that void. Developing a top-tier version of Frankfurt would not only serve a massive, eager user base on consoles but would also provide the perfect stage for the long-haul aircraft currently dominating our skies (like the A380 or the 777).Frankfurt is the beating heart of German aviation. It deserves a representation that matches the beauty and technical depth of MSFS 2024. Does the team have any plans or considerations regarding this legendary hub? I believe many of us would be thrilled to see it on the roadmap.Looking forward to your thoughts!
20 hours ago20 hr Given you mention just console there wouldn't be much point to just develop it soley for console users. I'm sure most of ini's scenery market is on PC, and PC users already have the solid Aerosoft Frankfurt.

10 hours ago10 hr Author To clarify: While other developers have provided versions of EDDF, a contemporary, high-fidelity project is still missing. The existing scenery often struggles with performance optimization and does not fully capture the complexity of the current infrastructure, including the nuances of the new Terminal 3.Standard sim updates are also not a replacement; they lack the immersion, interior detail, and ground handling precision that professional third-party developers deliver. A modern iniBuilds project would not just be 'another' version, but a necessary benchmark for performance and accuracy that currently is unavailable on both PC and console platforms.
