Hey guys,

Since v1.0.5 it seems that the rudder and stab positions have been stuck at L30/full down respectively and do not seem to be responding to control inputs; only the ailerons and spoilers' position indicators seem to be working at the moment. I don't believe this issue was present in v1.0.4. For reference, the screenshot attached was taken at cruise flight.

I concur, this has broken in 1.05. It was working before.

Just to add to this. I use the Auto FE and he sets the hydraulics. On the little caution panel a bunch of hydraulic related items flash up briefly. You will also notice the brake pressure bleed away to zero with each application of brakes. If you look at pressure in system A and D it often shows no pressure.

So the fun part happens on a long-ish taxi (happened yesterday). You line up, press go and press full send on your 226,000kg plane out of Melbourne for Tokyo. A few feet down the runway ALL hydraulic pressure leaves you, now with no working rudder/ailerons. You quickly turn to the FE panel and hit both PTU switches and hope you get some pressure back. Halfway across a grass field the pressure comes back with rudder and ailerons, rotate and airborne.

When the auto-FE sets hydraulics, don't believe him and check yourself. Make sure A, B, C and D all show pressure. Have now done an all clear of all caches (WASM etc) and doing another test flight, looks like all 4 systems got pressure this time. 1.0.5

Concur with the other users this is broken in 1.0.5 and was working before 1.0.5. This is quick and easy to verify and the team should not need a video to confirm the regression. Please use good judgement when asking end users for video evidence of bugs and/or regressions. When something so simple is broke, you don't need video.

Hi,
If I went around and asked everyone in a polling fashion if they are having the issue that one user was having whilst also dealing with other work items, I'd be stuck with 1000 one off issues where a good majority of them would be user error unfortunately. The reason I ask for a video is in case the user is either doing something wrong, or it's some other issue entirely, and then if it's not those issues then I already have video that I can pass along to the team showing exactly how this is happening and the reproducibility of it. I'd say that's pretty good judgement if you ask me. Thank you :)

I am glad to read that other simmers are having this rudder and elevator indication problem, as I am. Looking forward to this being fixed in the next update.

You're welcome. The OP contained a photo. Then 3 posters confirmed the OP defect. This is a very simple defect to confirm. Start on runway, move the yoke and rudder pedals and observe the instrument. Attaching some photos for you: Neutral, full down elevator, full up elevator, and rudder photos to follow in another post due to upload limit sizes.

To continue, note the rudder pedal positions and lack of indication on the defective instrument. Hope this helps.
