Climb phase

Featured Replies

Just did a flight from London Heathrow to Teheran. In the climb the vertical speed stayed around 1 500' per minute. I was NOT in vertical speed mode. Was using PM and VNAV. This plane should climb at about 2500' + down to about 700' per minute as it gets higher. It should NOT stay at a constant VS. It appears the thrust/power management in the .air file needs some adjusting. Can you please look into this matter - thanks.

Any comment/feedback from inibuilds regarding this matter?

Hi, some things are still being tuned with the aircraft regarding transition in the climb, climb performance as well. Are you able to submit a video of this happening in the meantime so I can forward it to the team, thank you.

Here are some pics from v1.0.3

1 - At 23 800' and climbing at 2000' fpm - this was at a TOW of 505 000lbs (basically MTOW)

2 - At 33 800' climbing at 1400'fpm at M0.82

3 - fuel and weight at FL 350

4 - crz at FL350 - N1 reading 81% - at this weight at M0.83 it should be at about 85% N1

5 - I really can't see how at MTOW this plane can comfortably reach FL350

The VS often would go down to 500 - 1000 fpm at heavy weights.

Please check this with someone who has flown the real -500
