09tir98 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 When selecting the RADIO/INS switch to INS the HSI correctly switches to display true compass information instead of magnetic compass information, however the MAG/TRUE flag does not switch to TRUE and instead continues to show MAG. 1
Eli128gb Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Also I’m pretty sure when you’re switching to Radio Navigation, the the distances on the HSI are still to the INS waypoints instead of to the tuned VOR/Dme which it should normally do. 1

That is actually correct per the system documentation we have available, and a system quirk we have modelled. The HSI Distance/Time readouts are only driven by the INS computers, as such can only show data from it. For radio navigation you need to use the DME Readout from the RMI gauge to the left of it which does take data from the NAV and ILS receivers.
