Ailerons slightly lift when selecting flaps, as soon as they retract the ailerons revert back to normal.

On the Lockheed L-1011 TriStar, the ailerons move up slightly when flaps are extended as part of an aerodynamic design feature intended to maintain desirable handling characteristics. Specifically, this "up-float" reduces the effectiveness of the ailerons to prevent over-controlling in low-speed, high-lift configurations, while often complementing the high-lift system for smoother, more stable approaches, potentially assisting in the Direct Lift Control (DLC)
