Seth2413 Posted Sunday at 08:33 PM Posted Sunday at 08:33 PM Is inibuilds actually going to do anything anymore for MSFS2020? Some of your new releases would be great for 2020 as well for eg KDFW. There are still quite a lot of people still using it. 1
NickDAL Posted Sunday at 09:33 PM Posted Sunday at 09:33 PM IniBuilds announced over a year ago, as have most other major developers, that going forward all new products will be for 2024.
Nuno Pinto Posted Monday at 09:24 AM Posted Monday at 09:24 AM People asked the same back in FS2004, FSX, P3D... History repeats.
Jimbojumbo Posted Monday at 04:06 PM Posted Monday at 04:06 PM I’m one of the ones who have waited patiently for 2024 to finally resolve all the issues at release and I’m proud to say I’ve finally migrated over and I’m loving it . So many improvements and it finally works . As a treat I downloaded the A350 and absolutely loving it . Credit to inibuilds as this is the first plane I have purchased from them and they’ve done a superb job with this . Kudos to them . 1
limbo Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Forgotten by devs, not by simmers Why? Better tools for developers For simmers? Well maybe they don't want to convert. Trust me it's quite stable now. Can't knock it anymore.
Christopher Low Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) I only switched to MSFS 2024 in December last year. I had been resisting the upgrade because I had a few reservations about the new version of the simulator. However, I decided to bite the bullet just before Christmas when I purchased a new PC.......and I am very glad that I did. It is better than MSFS 2020, and perfectly stable for me. Better lighting, more convincing dawn/dusk colours, vastly improved DEM data (no more late loading small islands or cliffs), considerably improved vector data (far fewer "black lakes" and low resolution coastlines), better integration of water features in the landscape (they just look and feel more natural to me), 3D trees that are light years beyond anything in MSFS 2020, and no more LAND BARS (those horrible strips of land that covered numerous river mouths, harbours and lakes). I was one of those users who desperately wanted addon developers to keep releasing products for MSFS 2020, so I do understand the frustration. However, now that I have (successfully) made the transition, I will not be looking back. Edited 5 hours ago by Christopher Low
