takimitsu Posted Saturday at 12:34 PM Posted Saturday at 12:34 PM After the 1.2.1 update, FMS keyboard input does not work properly. Sim keyboard input works.
IniJamir Posted Saturday at 03:52 PM Posted Saturday at 03:52 PM Hi, When you say the FMS keyboard inputs are not working properly, what do you mean by this, do you have any footage of what isn't working that way we can better understand and assist? When I was in last night I wasn't having issues typing in the 350 MCDU, however other users are reporting issues; so if we can get more recorded instances of this happening, that would help us greatly. Thank you.
dectenor2 Posted Saturday at 06:20 PM Posted Saturday at 06:20 PM Maybe he means the same issue I mentioned, where the physical keyboard inputs are still being applied to the aircraft when using it to type in the MCDU. 4
ClaasKrause Posted Saturday at 06:36 PM Posted Saturday at 06:36 PM Apparently the event-codes for the KCCU (350 MCDU) have changed? the always perfectly working stream deck profile doesn´t respond for the letter buttons and numerals and FPLAN / PERF / etc. ... did you change these?

I will have to ask the team, thank you for this additional information. 1

gusstavo Posted Sunday at 03:24 AM Posted Sunday at 03:24 AM (edited) same thing in msfs2020. I found that i just press CTRL once then type. Press it again to end "keyboard input active" this is what happens when just pressing the ctrl button and not releasing: a350 key input.mp4 Edited Sunday at 03:27 AM by gusstavo 1

Yes, that's right. On 2/1/2026 at 12:24 PM, gusstavo said: same thing in msfs2020. I found that i just press CTRL once then type. I solved it by deleting the keyboard bindings on the MSFS side. It was a hassle though.
felipeturbay Posted Monday at 05:43 AM Posted Monday at 05:43 AM Yeap I am also experiencing this problem…
CaptainFred31 Posted Monday at 03:05 PM Posted Monday at 03:05 PM I'm taking this opportunity to ask if it is possible to insert this feature in the MCDU 2. It can be usefull during preflight. No good pilots, only old pilots.
IniJamir Posted Monday at 03:56 PM Posted Monday at 03:56 PM Hello all, So I have spoken with the developers and it appears that all of our code within the aircraft are still functioning as they are supposed to where both the OIS and MCDU Inhibit code is present, however it seems that something on the simulator side is not being communicated and as such is allowing the OIS/MCDU inputs to also be registered to the sims default/added key binds. We have reached out to Asobo letting them know that this issue is present and affecting the aircraft as such. Sorry for the inconvenience at this time and thank you for your patience. 4

Hi, This is already a feature since 1.2.1., if you press LCtrl you can control the Left MCDU to type and if you press RCtrl, you can then control the Rightside MCDU and type as such. 1
