J0hnnyB0b Posted December 18 Posted December 18 WASM crash during cruise was not at pc, came back to aircraft in the ocean and red screens Aircraft: A340 EIS 1 passenger MSFS 2024 Navigraph 5600x, 7700xt, 16gb ram autosave off
steffanu Posted December 19 Posted December 19 Exact same issue, V1.06... was going so good until now.
steffanu Posted December 19 Posted December 19 Did you guys change something? The plane cannot be used downloaded anymore, only streamed?!
IniSteve Posted Monday at 10:28 PM Posted Monday at 10:28 PM We haven't changed anything drastically that would cause this. It might be worth flushing the package cache (uninstall/close sim/restart sim/redownload) of the aircraft to see if there was a conflict between versions. While I don't expect that to occur it wouldn't hurt.
jj737 Posted Tuesday at 12:03 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:03 PM In the marketplace I uninstalled the A340. installed again but that didn't help.

The solution (as far as I know) was to always start cold and dark at the gate .. and even it didn't always work.
jj737 Posted Wednesday at 01:23 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:23 PM (edited) This worked three times for me ... - Flight started on RWY - WASM Crashed - Ended flight to main menu - Flight started on Gate at same airport as before - Entered cockpit by Shift+C -> no crash of WASM - Ctrl+E - all okay Edited Wednesday at 03:08 PM by jj737
Airbumps2501 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Yeah, starting at the gate is a work around but not a fix to the problem.
