Der Michel Posted December 5 Posted December 5 (edited) Hello ini Team, @Eddie, @iniSteven, I have no idea what you are doing. Please, tell us what is the version of the FMS you try to implement? With 1.02 you downgraded the IRS INIT to HONEYWELL P3. Now you implement an OFFSET version of HONEYWELL P4. Some of my reports are based on the assumption you do P3, but if it’s now P4… So, what is it now? left P3 / right P4 Edited December 5 by Der Michel 2 1 Specs: CPU-14900K, RAM-64GB-6800, GPU-4090
Der Michel Posted December 10 Author Posted December 10 Hi iniTeam, I would really appreciate it, if you could answer the question, what FMGEC System Version you are implementing in this addon. Shouldn't be to complicate to answer. THANK YOU! a) FMS2 HONEYWELL P2 b) FMS2 HONEYWELL P3 c) FMS2 HONEYWELL Release 1A P4 d) FMS2 HONEYWELL Release 2 P5A e) FMS2 THALES Rev 2+ T2 f) FMS2 THALES Release 1A T3 g) FMS2 THALES Release 1A T4 h) FMS2 THALES Release 1A T5B i) FMS2 THALES Release 2 T6A 2 Specs: CPU-14900K, RAM-64GB-6800, GPU-4090
Der Michel Posted yesterday at 08:13 AM Author Posted yesterday at 08:13 AM Hi iniTeam, I hope you had a chance to identify what FMGEC version you are implementing. It would be really helpful, if you could tell us the result. Specs: CPU-14900K, RAM-64GB-6800, GPU-4090
Der Michel Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago Hi iniTeam, @Eddie it’s irritating to see you and other moderators active in the forum, but no single reaction to my question. Now it’s eleven days since I rised my question. It would be really fair to get an answer. I postest a lot bug reports for the A340 and also the A350. For me it’s a pleasure to help to improve the airbus products. But to do that further on, some basic information is required. Currently I’m not happy, that you decided to just ignore this topic with the question. That’s not professional. 1 Specs: CPU-14900K, RAM-64GB-6800, GPU-4090

When starting development you should now what you want and all the people who provide references should know what you are looking at, and also the the dev team should know what they want and should have an idea how the final product has to like like. If not all can be “correct” and results in what we currently have. That doesn’t speak well for the ini development Process. So we could be happy that they didn’t implement a Boeing FMS. P.S. But I still expect an official answer and will bump this topic regularly. Edited 5 hours ago by Der Michel Specs: CPU-14900K, RAM-64GB-6800, GPU-4090
iniSteven Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Hi Michel, Originally the FMS was based on a Honeywell P3 unit that we had documentation on. However, that documentation lacked certain pages including offsets, so in order to have that functionality we had to find alternative documentation on a different unit that included those functions. Now we have a tester with access to an actual A330 Honeywell unit so some pages have been updated as information has come on to better match that real unit. Despite that you can in fact consider our implementation a "hybrid" of different software suites in order to provide all of the functionality that users have requested. However, if you have detailed documentation on specific units that have all of the features we'd like to implement please shoot us an email 🙂 Best, Steven AMD 7800x3d - 64gb RAM - nVidia RTX 5080

Yes I have documentation, what’s the mail address? So you are now doing a P4 (Release 1A) I assume. That’s the most usefull. Doing P5 would be too much (most current Release 2 with FLS etc.) At the End a P4 is less work for you as the most pages are currently P4. But a clear confirmation would be great. By the way, you missed an OFFSET page in P3, because there is none. The OFFSET is directly entered at the LATREV page, where you in a P4 have the access to the subpage. Just check my first post in this topic. The OFFSET is then described in the LATREV page section in the FCOM. But that is something every pilot should have been able to tell you. Also in the first post you see the pages you have now to change from P3 to P4 layout. After Christmas I will then update my topics regarding the page layouts, that reflect currently a P3 as target version. Edited 2 hours ago by Der Michel Specs: CPU-14900K, RAM-64GB-6800, GPU-4090
