Der Michel Posted November 9 Posted November 9 1. The LSK2L and 2R have to be blue, as the values can be edited by pilot. 2. Whne LSK1R is pressed, the values have to vanish 3. The logic need to be adapted. The ini A340 has GPS, so this logic has to be implemented: "The preferred way of initializing the ADIRS is to use the GPS position, because this does not require any flight crew intervention. Less than 1 min after setting the ADIRS to NAV, the INIT page displays the GPS position without displaying the ALIGN IRS prompt. If the flight crew enters a CO RTE or FROM/TO, the INIT page displays the departure airport reference-point coordinates, and the ALIGN IRS prompt appears. If this prompt key is not pressed, the ADIRS is initialized to the GPS position at the end of the alignment time. At any time during the alignment, the flight crew can manually adjust the coordinates displayed on the INIT page. The ALIGN IRS prompt reappears. If the ALIGN IRS prompt key is pressed, the coordinates displayed on the INIT page are sent to the ADIRS for initialization. This is the alternate method for ADIRS initialization, when the GPS position is not available. A normal alignment takes between 5 and 10 min (depending on the local latitude). At latitudes between 73° and 82° (North or South), the alignment takes about 17 min. The ADIRS cannot be aligned beyond 82° (North or South). A fast alignment takes about 30 s, and it is used for improving the ADIRS initial position accuracy, when time is limited." Specs: CPU-14900K, RAM-64GB-6800, GPU-4090
Der Michel Posted December 21 Author Posted December 21 (edited) Since @iniSteven confirmed, that a P3 System is now no longer the target, this page is complete wrong! Attached some pictures: IRS are all 3 OFF: 1.0 second after IRS 1 is switched to NAV: 5.0 seconds after IRS 1 is switched to NAV: 1.0 second after IRS 2 is switched to NAV: 1.0 second after IRS 3 is switched to NAV: 15.0 second after IRS 1 is switched to NAV: 15.0 second after IRS 2 is switched to NAV: 15.0 second after IRS 3 is switched to NAV: IRS 1 aligned: IRS 2 aligned: IRS 3 aligned: This is now from an other video: If INIT A has an already entered FROM/TO, you get the option to align to refference: (Note: In this example it took 37 seconds form switching to NAV to provide the GPS position in line 2) The up/down arrows are default at LAT LSK1L and can be moved to LONG LSK1R by left/right arrow keys. Then the LAT/LONG can be adjusted with the up/down arrow keys. The ICAO ident is only displayed as long as the refference LAT/LONG ois matching the refference airport LAT/LONG. Now an exapmple with ALIGN ON REF: And some information regarding the ALIGNMENT time: Edited December 21 by Der Michel Specs: CPU-14900K, RAM-64GB-6800, GPU-4090
ArtAir Posted December 23 Posted December 23 Hello Der Michel, Has inibuilds fixed at least one bug reported by you?🤨 I mean, you put so much efforts to improve systems...
Roders Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The A340 was an easy cash grab for ini - its clear the addon is heavily dependent on the default A330’s framework …. Don’t expect @iniBuilds to fix or improve anything when they can’t even sort the basics out - I can’t even get the thing to work without constant instrument freezes and WASM crashes, it’s been over 3 month since release! I provided them with endless crash reports and detailed forum posts… absolute silence… @iniBuilds now might be a good time to let us know what is going on in the office? Having a quick break are we… seems your customers are doing your jobs for you making the necessary bug reports and cross referencing systems logic with the real aircraft… but you still can’t be bothered to follow up - add some courtesy to your New Year’s resolution list !
